    • If you want your dog to stop barking, buy this product!
I have had this product for about a month and my dog does not bark when she isn't supposed to anymore. I recommend not setting the shock level above a three. Anything above that will cause the dog pain. You can easily adjust the shock level using the dial that's on the product. The battery life is also fantastic! I can put on the collar for about four to five days for about eight hours per day, and the collar still has a charge. ... show more

    • Faulty barking sensor and it doesn’t hold charge after a few months of use
When we got it it was working fine without any issues but now only after a few month of use it started malfunctioning. we tried testing the collar but it did nothing so I thought maybe the lower settings didn’t do much, so I move the dial to 5 same thing, nothing happened. I finally move it to 10 keeping a very close eye on my barker it didn’t do anything. I took it off and put it to charge the whole night thinking this might solve the problem. Next day I put it back on my dog and she seemed fine and it looks like the collar is finally working, then all of the sudden it just goes off without any noise/barking or any other dogs around. She yelped in pain at a setting of 4 I lowered to a 2 thinking maybe the mic/bark sensor was being over sensitive to sound. It did go off again without any reason. I finally took it off and have not had my girl wear her collar. She needs correction but only when she does bark but not just because a faulty sensor. Now it’s too late to return I guess that was almost $100.00 dollars wasted. ... show more

    • Absolutely worth it and effective
I tried several other collars that were less expensive and wasted my money. This one truly works. I bought 2; 1 for my Labradane that is 110lbs and the other for a smaller lab mix that weights about 60lbs. I’ve yet to go over level 3 on my 110lber and level 5 for my 60lber. It warns and then gives a shock so they know not to continue to bark. ... show more

    • Seems heavy duty. Not an elegant design.
I have only unpacked the order of two YS600 bark collars. The design is not elegant, but it seems like the quality is good and heavy-duty. The collar straps are made of tough, stiff rubber. Time will tell how easy and effective they work.

    • Our Last Hope
We have a Cane Corso (150 lb dog) that is as friendly as can be until he’s on a leash. For some reason, he gets so anxious when he sees other dogs, he goes ballistic. We didn’t know how to fix it, and practice wasn’t helping. He appeared so vicious but all he wanted to do was play. This collar was our last hope, and it was a pure success. After a few walks, and increasing the strength to the point where we knew he would feel it, it did wonders! It sucks to hear him yelp but it only was a couple times until he completely stopped.     • Our noisy dog has gotten much quieter
[Update: Jan 2023]: This collar does work well. He doesn't bark with it on. But, it has had a few false triggers that shocked him when he didn't do anything. I'm bumping my review down to 3 stars because of that. We usually don't put the collar on him because we don't trust it. When it shocks him, even on the lowest setting, it's enough to make him shriek. I really don't like it when it happens when he hasn't done anything wrong, and it makes him extremely anxious. [Original Review] This works great. Our dog was barking non-stop and he very quickly learned to stop. It only zapped him once or twice before he learned. However, I will note: this thing seems to be much stronger than our older corrective collar. Our older collar has settings from 1-15, and he wouldn't even notice unless we had it on 11+. This collar has settings from 1-10, and I don't need to put it up past 1. I definitely recommend that you start on the lowest settings for your dog, even if you are used to how your dog responds to other collars. Work your way up until your dog responds because this thing seems to be stronger than other collars. Also, I wish this had a remote control so it could work as a bark collar and also a training collar. But that's really my only complaint. ... show more
