The quality of the product for its price is amazing. Definitely worth the price. The screen is smooth and you can easily tap and interact with it. Brightness is perfect for the car, there has been times where the sun may be too bright but the screen is well visible. It’s also pretty sturdy the suction to it lasts on the car for some time. It’s been almost a week and I can see it lasting. It has a strong hold to it and easy set up. Sound quality is just what you’d get for a typical aux and it makes it easier for music. For those who want an aux but more, get it. The GPS feature on it plus music is so helpful it helps balance out and gives a huge screen right in front of you, you’ll never need your phone again. Mind you I have a pretty old car and it works perfectly with no issues connecting to phone. This makes a perfect Christmas, birthday, and any special occasional gift. Stuck on what to get? So it’s the best alternative to an I dash system and for my car that's out of question because it’s a pain and really expensive. Easy to install and connects to your iPhone. It mirrors and uses your apps. I always use google maps instead of apples. The audio aux wire isn’t the greatest and I’ve seen comments on a light buzzing noise coming from the car audio. It happened to me and I changed it for a better quality aux wire and the buzzing was gone. Phone calls are clear! Screen is bright and vivid and the look is modern. The camera is quality too. I can’t wait to give this to my daughter for Christmas! She has an older Toyota Highlander, and I know this will make her driving safer. I’m not sure which feature I’m the most excited about- probably the backup camera and the navigation. She will love the speaker and radio. It is set up for Apple and Android. It’s easy to connect and has voice controls to get Siri assistance. I always worry when she heads out the driveway and knowing she is less likely to fiddle with her phone and that she can use the voice controls is soothing for a worried parent. The fact that she can make voice calls without having to do it on the phone keypad is much safer. The packaging is even nicer than I anticipated. It’s a quality item with so many features that would cost thousands of dollars in an upgrade. The value for the price is excellent. And it comes with a one year warranty. This item seems to be a generic item made by the same manufacturer and sold under several Chinese store fronts here on Amazon. it has some issues but it works and it is a relatively cheap solution for cars not equipped with a car play. will update and see how it holds to use in a few months. UPDATE The unit stopped playing music, its Bluetooth connects only sporadically to the carplay and it is a source of great frustration. I Tried several phones and all have the same problem of not being able to connect, which indicates that the unit itself has issues. it worked fine for about 20 days. I contacted the seller for help and it is... total silence. Do yourself a service and buy a reputable brand that stands behind its warranty and quality. Do not buy. ... show more

The customer service has been exceptional. I want to commend the customer team at dogfuel for their prompt response to my email within an hour. I truly feel valued and appreciated! I own a 2014 Toyota Corolla without a smart screen, and I had considered getting a third-party installation, but the cost was too high, up to $400. Then, a friend recommended this product to me, and I was absolutely amazed! One of the things that really appealed to me about this portable carplay unit is its size. It's technically bigger, but I love how it has a lower profile, which won't obstruct my vision too much. The unit itself is incredibly snappy and responsive, with sensitive touch controls. While it may not be as good as a smartphone, it's just as fast and responsive as mine, and it actually has more features! The split screen feature on this unit is really cool. I can have half of the screen dedicated to the camera, while the other half displays CarPlay. I can even have half of the screen showing the rear camera and the other half showing the dash camera. The internal speakers are impressive as well. I'm sure they'll sound even better once I have it installed in my vehicle and connected to the car's speakers.
