When it comes to dog-training collars, we've been hesitant, but decided to go with this specific collar because of the great reviews. When we first got this collar, I was a bit confused with the charger/charging cable/charging mechanism of the black cord and the actual collar (I've included a photo where I've circled it in red). I couldn't figure it out. So, I reached out to the seller and received a prompt, cordial response explaining to me that the black charging cable is magnetic and magnetically connects to the collar. I appreciate the prompt, professional customer service. And I learned something new, being that I'm not so technologically savvy. Now, the inside of the collar itself has a few tiny, very subtle rough/sharp areas, which I wondered if theses would affect the dog's neck or cause a rash of some sort (photo included with red circle around tiny area). Now, these tiny couple of areas weren't dealbreakers or anything. I'm a DIY junkie and I got creative and put a layer of glue over these almost microscopic, tiny areas. I let it dry and repeated a few times until I got a nice little layer there. What I really like about this collar is it comes with everything you need....instructions, charging cables, remote, and a few extra little bells and whistles. My son and I first tested the shock ourselves to make sure it wasn't too much. The shock got our attention, but it definitely wasn't painful. We had to be very careful and judicius because our dog, who has epilepsy, has a tendency to quickly walk off when our and about. This collar has been very effective in controlling the walking away abd training Betsy to be a bit more mindful, without hurting her. Also, I love that it's waterproof. This way, when she runs through the sprinklers, we don't have to worry. If you're not technologically savvy (like me) and need a good training collar that's not too aggressive, then I highly recommend this collar. Definitely worth every penny --- a great value for the money! Just get it!

I bought this collar to train my dog and it has been wonderful. The range of 4218 feet is real, we have tested it and it works without problems even at a distance, it is also waterproof so I don't have to worry if it gets wet or if it rains and the battery lasts a long time and recharges easily. The remote control is very practical and easy to use. This collar has been a very useful tool to reinforce training safely and effectively. Highly recommended for those who want to improve obedience without resorting to aggressive methods!

Works great for about 2 months. Then it won’t hold a charge. Don’t recommend. Spend the money buy better quality. Unless you just need something to work that’s cheap for any a few months

This collar is fantastic! I wanted one that goes a long distance and I've tested it, its very accurate as described. I need a training collar for my puppy and its been the best training tool. He responds very well to thr beep and vibration. I've only needed to use the shock in desperate situations, like keeping him away from a porcupine. He was running towards the porcupine, and would not listen to me calling him, so I shocked him low and he stopped in his tracks and came right back to me. We avoided a very dangerous situation. I am thankful for this collar. It's a little big but it's so light that he's not having a any trouble wearing it. Overall it's very easy to use and has a variety of levels available. My dog is very stubborn but is trainable with this collar. If it wasn't for this collar he would never be able to be safely off leash.

I love this collar so much. I will be ordering another because some how my dog chewed hers off while in her kennel. But this is the best thing ever. Just the beep noise helps so much. Even my dog that doesn’t have th collar on comes running back. I had to rig it up till I order a new one.
