I walk three dogs at once, and I use this collar on my youngest — a Lab mix who likely has some terrier in her. She’s athletic, has a high prey drive, and a dominant personality. When I first started walking her, she was leash reactive — and honestly, if I were tied to my siblings with a rope, I’d be reactive too (just sayin'). Before I go further, it’s worth noting that I also use an invisible fence system with two of my dogs. It gives a warning beep followed by a static correction if they cross the boundary. This keeps them from escaping under or over a fence they could easily breach. I’ve tried other electric collars in the past, but the battery life was terrible, the beep was barely audible, and the vibration was so weak it might as well not have existed. This collar solves all those issues. The battery lasts, the beep is nice and loud, and the vibration is strong enough to actually be useful — all for about the same price as the underperforming ones I used before. When I first began using it on walks, I’d tap the beep function whenever my dog showed signs of reactivity. To my surprise, she would immediately tune in and calm down — a cause-and-effect I didn’t expect. As her behavior improved, I transitioned to using the beep mainly when she started to pull on the leash. If she pulled hard, I’d use the static correction at level 5 out of 99. It’s mild — she just pauses and shakes her head like there’s a fly on her ear. If she gets too focused on another dog, or a rabbit she wants to chase, a quick tap of the shock button brings her attention back to me. It’s a gentle nudge, not a punishment, and it works. One thing I want to highlight is that this collar hasn’t caused any anxiety, which is something I was initially concerned about. I think part of that is because I always walk my dogs on a leash — they know they’re with me, and the correction feels more like a guided reminder than an isolated shock. There’s no panic or distress, just refocused behavior. The collar unit itself is user-friendly — the buttons are large and easy to find without looking, and changing settings mid-walk is simple. It’s also fairly durable. I dropped it once on the sidewalk and it held up fine. That said, I wouldn’t call it rugged — it’s not encased in rubber or built for extreme abuse. In terms of comfort, it’s decent. My dogs don’t seem to mind wearing these collars as long as they fit snugly. If the collar slips around, the prongs can irritate the skin, but I haven’t had any issues with this collar or with the invisible fence ones I use.

This collar has been excellent! I have mostly used the sound and vibrate options . I had some issues with resource guarding that was just starting in my one year old Doberman male, I also have a few pit bulls in my “ pack”. We had some problems with excessive barking and resource guarding, both have decreased to almost non existent! I’ve only used the shock option a couple times and it’s only on level 5 out of 99. He barely feels it but he knows it’s serious and he needs to stop. This is a rare occurrence, normally I don’t need to use shock. I can use it from indoors, it reaches him, does not harm him or cause him to yelp or look like it hurts him. I would never hurt my baby. I put it on a lanyard so I can work around the yard hands free and still be able to grab it if I need it easily. Like I read others say” life changing” we don’t have to constantly yell no barking, at our city dog. He also is too rough with one of our other dogs and I can make him stop with just a beep noise and command stop vocally. I love this E collar! I have recommended it to many of my friends already. Set up is easy, it has different sounds if your dog gets used to a certain noise you can change it, it has different levels of vibration and 99 different levels of shock! I only have mine on 5 which is very low, but my dog has very short hair, and is quite sensitive and reactive to all the buttons. This collar functions exactly like it should every time, charge lasts for days and days, and seems very durable, comes with lifetime warranty also. Easy to charge with a double port for collar and remote at same time. I love it and my dog doesn’t mind it either. I highly recommend as a training tool for those of us who might not be the best at dog training. It works fast, results were right away, and my dog is obedient and happy. His behavior is better and he is still the goofy boy he was before the collar! No change in his personality from using the collar, just better behavior.

Works great - after a couple years of use, I forgot how to sync the collar to the remote after it lost connection. I emailed their customer service and they replied very promptly with how to re-sync!

Very positive feedback when using various methods of control. I adopted a senior dog that seemed perfect when I first adopted her. Very quiet lap dog. The whithin a couple of weeks she started acting like a spoiled three month old. Nothing was working to stop her barking or her from scratching peoples legs Now My unruly barker stops her incessant noise immediately when I press the noise or vibrate button. Se ha so stopped her leg scratching. So far I have not had to use the shock button. I would certainly recommend this collar for your unruly companion.

Just arrived. Much sturdier than some other sets I've bought. Works out of the box, which is great after the last cheaper set I bought couldn't even clear the hurdle of sending sub-GHz signals to the collars at all. The collars don't turn off after some hours of activity. Some may view that as a con, but I see that as a giant plus. Nothing more frustrating than urgently needing to use the collar and needing to stop and turn the collar on first. I'd rather have it burning battery idle and charging it once a week than having to keep up with turning it back on constantly. Knocking off one star for using micro-USB rather than type-C, would be nice to use all the type-C chargers I have lying around the house. Micro-USB should have died a decade ago. Knocking off another star for not having the collars' battery lives displayed on the remote. Update: I default to the vibrate function, but I had to use the shock function recently. 100% had the intended effect. Buuuuuut. After removing the metal prongs, there remains in-built screws that poke up. I had to file those down. Despite that, I'm upping a star to 4 for the battery life. Good golly. It's remarkable.
