This is a good training collar for a puppy, especially a german shepherd puppy with a biting problem. It is easy to use with a good battery life. The beep is loud enough to be sure its working and the vibrate is strong enough to get the dogs attention and make him a tad uncomfortable after repeated bad behaviors. Have not had to use the shock on it yet as the puppy responds well to just the vibrate at this point.

Overall a solid dog training collar with sounds, vibration, and static modes. I have a fairly large dog that is pretty good hanging out with us outside without a collar but every once in a while something will get his attention and gets hyper focused on whatever got his attention and verbal commands are not enough to snap him out of it. So far I have only had to use the vibrate function as this seems to get his attention pretty well. Will save the shock function if the vibration fails to change the behavior. The collar fits very well and has remarkable battery life. I love that both the handheld and receiver are rechargeable saves on having to buy batteries. The remote is very easy to use with clearly marked buttons with a small led readout for strength and battery life remaining. We only put this on when he goes outside with us so the battery life is only based on that use case but we have not had to charge it again as of yet. That being said it only takes up to 2hrs to charge them. I have tested about 1000ft and it worked without issue but is rated for 3000 feet. Overall this has been great is getting his attention with just the vibrate function the sound hopefully over time he will associate the sound with the vibrate and will just be able to use the sound mode to get his attention back. Nice solid training device.

Great for training, I haven't used the shock function on my dog yet, but the beep vibration seems to work well. The shock function does work, I accidentally shocked myself and it wasn't a nice feeling lol Great price point, I have looked these up at local shops and the price for a very similar product is $20+ higher. Rechargeable batteries are great, it recharges in minutes.

So far, the SVEA SVEAVERKEN Dog Shock Collar looks like a winner. I have owned other such collars - different brands, in the past, but this one is much easier to use. There are but three buttons to choose from for your controlling needs - vibration, sound, and safe shock. The vibration level can be adjusted from 1 to 8, while the electric stimulation level ranges from 1 to 16. Turn the small unit on and you're good to go. By the way, it’s very handy that the included charging cable can provide juice for the collar and remote, simultaneously. My beloved airedale is HEAD-STRONG and is like flying a kite in a hurricane when we're out for a leisurely (HA!) walk. He needs a reminder beep and an occasional little shock to remind him who's in charge and what he's supposed to do. The claim for the range of this control is a distance of up to 3,000 feet. I haven't measured that, but I'll wager there's enough range for what I'll need. Time will tell what the device's durability will be. Some other shock collars I've owned have stopped working after a short period of time. This one seems solid and well-designed, is waterproof, and I have no preliminary criticisms to offer.

This shock collar has excellent features that combined make it a great investment in training your dog. The remote is very easy to read, use and understand, unlike others that I’ve scratched my head trying to figure out what and how to press to make it work. The collar is small and thin but very strong and durable so it provides excellent comfort on the neck. It’s also extremely easy to adjust and cut to size which I definitely prefer over wide cumbersome collars that use standard buckles. I’m adding a caution for the dog’s safety. Test the shock level on yourself to get an idea of how powerful the shock actually is. This one gives a good “bite” so I recommend to not immediately go past level 4, of course depending on the thickness of the dog’s fur. It goes to 16 which I probably would never use. I’m very pleased with this setup so I definitely recommend it.
