With a seven year old rescue who is a very reactive chihuahua/ Daschund mix, life has been challenging. He’s been socialized and been on medications. He’d bitten relatives, even recently and barks at the wind just blowing and every dog and man. Having a new puppy around was making things worse and it didn’t seem fair that it wasn’t under control and now causing the puppy anxiety. I tried this durable shock collar for the first time about four weeks ago. I predominantly trained him with the tone, but had to use low vibration several times in the beginning. I also used a muzzle on walks as he was biting the puppy. After about 1.5 weeks he has been conditioned where he needs no reinforcements of the collar or muzzle at all on walks. Here and there following commands to come out of the crate he’ll get the tone and respond well. I may periodically put just the collar on him as a cue but he’s doing extremely well now! He actually listens and follows my verbal commands to stop if he does become reactive on walks. I haven’t had to charge the remote since getting it. It holds an incredible charge! The collar for perfectly. Long strap though and when I cut it, it frayed but it’s ok. I’m so grateful to have come across this product as it saved him from having to find another forever home or be euthanized by the humane society because they couldn’t take him back as a biter.

I bought this necklace to give it to a friend who has a very restless dog and who used to bark a lot when visitors arrived. He loved it. What we liked the most is that it has several training modes, especially sound and vibration, which have been enough to correct the behavior without the need to use the strongest correction mode. The remote control is easy to use and the range is very good, even when the dog is playing in the yard. The necklace is light, resistant and also waterproof, so nothing happens if it gets wet. The battery lasts quite a long time and the indicator on the screen helps a lot to know when to recharge. In a very short time the dog began to obey better and bark less. My friend was delighted and I was very happy with the result. It is definitely an excellent training tool when used with love and patience.

Al principio tenía mis dudas sobre usar un collar de entrenamiento, porque mi intención nunca fue lastimar a mi perro, sino ayudarlo a comportarse mejor. Great training collar with responsible use. Both the collar and remote looks slick and modern. Remote is simple and intuitive, which is one of the reasons why I chose this product over the others with too much going on. Great battery life and range as well. Collar and remote battery is still displaying at least 2 bars and it’s been over 3 weeks since the initial charge (should last another few weeks before I have to recharge both). I like that it has a beep function, vibrate function (8 levels), and then a shock function (16 levels) to gradually let your dog off with a warning before resorting to the shock function. You should not have to use the shock function if you properly train your dog with the beep and vibrate functions. With our dog, he picked up training pretty quickly and understands with the beep function (sometimes we do have to use the vibrate function). All in all, a great training product with responsible use.

this collar was really cute with the different lights on the remote and device, and it worked really well. The beep is loud and the vibration and shocks are very strong at even a low level. Over all decent collar at a great price. The battery life also seemed to be great. The only thing that I did not love and the reason I will be looking for another is that this remote and collar randomly auto-shuts off. The first time I actually needed it to redirect my dog, the thing was not on, despite having been on earlier! Also it beeps and vibrates at start up and turn off, even the random self turn off, which freaked my puppy out. I personally need something that stays constantly on.
