I've gone through a few electronic dog collars over the years, and this is one of the best values out there! First and foremost, DO NOT use the electric shock function without testing it on yourself first. Put it on your hand and slowly ramp up the strength for two reasons. First, so that you know what you are potentially doing to your dog, and secondly so you get an idea of what is "too strong". Shock collars are not meant to hurt dogs, only to get their attention! The construction of the collar and controller are both great. Make sure to read the instructions and then operation is very easy. Response time is quick. Vibration & shock intensity are both variable to meet the purpose you need it for. I've had this for about a week now and battery life is excellent (I can go the whole week without needing to charge it at all). The controller can also be paired with additional collars for multiple dogs. This is an easy product to recommend, so go ahead and buy it!

I’ve been using this for about two months and it does the job. I have a Husky that loves barking for attention. I adjusted so they prongs were closer to the skin and I haven’t had any issues since. It hardly ever needs to be charged and is very easy to use.

This has helped tremendously with getting my foster dogs attention. With a little strategy, he is now paying attention more, and I’m frustrated less. The settings go up to 99, but just starting out, I set everything to 02, shock to 01. That’s bc the shock on two scared my poor dog badly. He was shaking for 10 minutes after. No wonder. I tried it on my hand and it scared the heck out of me. I turned it down to 01, and put the rubberized tips on the metal connectors. It’s more tolerable for him. And he’s gotten very sensitive to my commands which are much softer now that he’s actually listening to me. Honestly, in the four days I’ve had the collar, I’ve only had to use shock 3 times. I give a warning by pressing the beep one time along with a verbal instruction, and then, a few seconds later I follow up with the vibrate, which is just a lil bit of a buzz. Now if I give a beep, he comes right over to me and sits. It’s more effort if there are distractions such as squirrels or other dogs. But the difference between now and 4 days ago when the collar arrived, is that he is no longer reacting without warning. He whines a lil bit, but doesn’t jump n run. If you’ve got a large dog that is reactive and disobedient, I strongly suggest this collar. For smaller dogs, I wouldn’t recommend. The shock value is too strong.

This collar is a VERY affordable price point for e-collar training. Considering the price point and functionality I’d give it 5 stars. Giving 3 stars because the collar stopped working after 2 months. The receiver is still fully working and acts like it’s still connected to the collar but we cannot get the collar to re-charge or turn on anymore making the product useless. Contacted customer service, they were quick to respond at first but have not responded with any help since providing the order#. Hopefully this gets resolved quickly and I can change this review. Another note, the collar has maybe a 2 sec. delay from when you click the shock button to it actually shocking on the collar. We’re familiar with e-collars and typically the collar will shock at the same time that you click and say “off”, this collar has a slight delay. Our dog responds ok to it because we’ve had another collar that responds immediately but can see how in time the delayed shock from when you give the command could create confusion. It’s very slight though.

What I love about this training collar is how long the battery charge last, easily around 3 weeks, and how easy it is to charge with the included magnet charger. Love the feature that when is not in use/motion it turns off by itself keeping the charge even longer. Very convenient and user friendly.
