First of all, prior to this collar. I had tried 2 other collars which worked fine but this one definitely takes the cake. At first glance, the packaging is cute and simple and not bulky. Which makes the box perfect for storage. When you open the package, the collar comes charged which is great because you can test it right away. I first tested the beep. The beep was loud and clear, however you can’t adjust the volume for it. The VIBRATE setting goes from 1-8. I tested it at 1 and 8 before putting it on my dog. The vibrate setting was enough to be effective so I never tried the shock setting on him. However, I did test it on myself. The SHOCK setting goes from 1-18. I tested it on my thumb. The 1 setting was very faint but still detectable. The 18 setting did startle me a little but nothing unbearable. It did leave a little bit of an after shock for a minute or so. I would recommend only using the vibrate setting unless it doesn’t work, then start the shock on level 1. The 18th level doesn’t seem necessary in my opinion. There are two channels if you have two dogs but I only have one so I wasn’t able to test that setting but nice to know if you do have two that you would like to use one remote on! Overall the collar is great and I would definitely recommend it over other collars. The collar is adjustable and a clip unlike other collars I have which were more like a belt with hole you need to push through. This collar is superior because you can adjust the length so it would fit small AND medium dogs. The orange color is also very sleek.

The media could not be loaded. Our main reason for buying this was to teach our dog to not wander beyond the border of our yard, and to come back inside when called. She easily gets distracted by the cars and people in the neighborhood. We tried it first with a long rope on her just in case she wandered off, but we didn’t need the rope. As soon as she went too far I called her. She ignored as usual until I did the beep. She looked back at me, then she got distracted again, so I did the vibration and the beep. That was enough to get her full attention and she came back. We tried it a few more times and each time we had to use the remote actions less, until she came back on her own, the first time I called. We also figured out another benefit to the remote control rather than a collar activated by her bark: We want her to act as a guard/alert dog by barking if someone approaches our house. With this remote feature, we can let her bark at first, then control her barking if we want her to stop because we trust the visitor. The remote was very easy to setup and change the levels to the desired settings of vibration and shock level. I doubt we’ll even have to use the shock much because she responded so well to the beep and vibrate. But it’s good to know it’s there in case she’s not being obedient. The kit also comes with a loud clicker which can be used for training other tricks. Highly recommend!

1.) Easy to use once you figure everything out. Would suggest a better instruction manual in with the collar. Unclear what setting to use 1-18 and didn't understand the channel setting. Also, couldn't find anywhere if I should take the rubber tips off the metal prongs when just using the beep and vibrate mode. 2.) My dog is a miniature (13 pounds) and the collar is big on her even though it is a small. 3.) My dog is a bit skittish and was scared at first but has responded well. Her bad habits are pulling on a leash, barking and not coming when called. She has responded well to the "beep" but when she doesn't I use the "vibrate". I have yet had to use the shock mode and with her skittish personality she would have to do some serious misbehaving before I did use it.

For my 17 pound Doxie. I was afraid when it came that it might be too big and heavy for my girl but it actually is a great weight. She in comfortable in the collar and I'm confidante knowing I don't have to use the shock mode to teach her to not take actions that could be life threatening to her. The vibration and noise modes are sufficient for her training. I am training her to be a service dog so I need a serious training regimen. Thank you for the perfect training collar!

I have a 2-year-old mini–Golden Doodle who barked when I left him alone. I live in a condo and one neighbor would complain when he barked. My first purchase was a bark collar. I have a baby cam and monitor Jake when I am not home. He barked one time when I had it set on sound and vibrate, he shook his head and did not bark the rest of time I was gone. After a few times of putting the bark collar on when I left, I now no longer need to put the collar on. So far training collar works just as well. I have been using it to stop his pulling when he is on a leash. I have only used it a few times, but Jake immediately stops pulling by just using the sound feature I have never used the shock feature. I am very pleased so far.

I bought this dog collar to train my 2 year old GSD who likes to run away and bark at everything. The collar has a remote that has 3 modes (beep, shock or vibrate the collar), and you can adjust the intensity of them. The collar works well for me and my dog. The shock and vibration are not too harsh, but enough to get her attention. The collar is also durable and waterproof, so I don’t have to worry about it getting damaged. I would recommend this product to anyone who needs a reliable and effective way to train their dog. It is easy to use and has a very good range. It has helped me and my dog have a better relationship and more fun together.

This e-collar has been amazing so far. I've only had it for a few hours but was eager to test it out on my puppy. She's gotten into a habit of baking at anyone she sees in the balcony so having this collar has helped divert her attention by just making it beep. While over not had to use the shock feature yet, the one thing I would call out is that the collar is slightly bulky, so it's better suited for med to large dogs!
