This dog house is not an extra-large it is actually a small dog house. My corgi will fit in it but the dog pictured will not, not even close. Tried to send it back BUT, they want $52 to do that. So I guess I’m stuck with it.

This house was ordered as a large dog house. 32 inches high. All the pictures show goldens and huskies in the adds but my 8 month old red heeler (35lbs) wont fit in it comfortably. Sadly disappointed. I guess this is what i get for not getting out a tape measure and building it out of cardboard before my purchase. On top of all this I need to pay to have it returned! This is garbage. Becasue you can't accurately describe a product I get stuck footing the bill to return it. ... show more

I gave this product 4 stars because it is actually a little over 1 inch smaller than advertised. The height is correct, but the base is short of the advertised dimensions. We purchased this dog house as a "duck house" for our ducks to be able to get in out of the weather if they so choose. It appears they will all fit inside, but we have yet to see more than 3 inside at one time. The roof is not easy to remove to clean. Do not purchase this item if that is a requirement for you. You have to remove 8 screws in order to take the roof off, and the roof is fitted into the front and back walls. I have not, nor do I plan to remove the roof. We will just have to reach inside with brooms or the water hose to clean it out. ... show more

This is a very flimsy doghouse. This is more for a warmer claimant. I bought it for my tortoises and I would definitely not suggest it for a big dog! I am returning this product!

This dog house is NOT Extra Large! The flimsy plastic bottom was not sturdy enough to hold a 90 lb dog without bending and touching the ground. (Base 3 “ off ground but one only piece so it sagged under my he weight of my dog.) The square shape would not be comfortable for my lab anyway, but since it said Extra Large….. Do NOT purchase this if you have a true extra large dog! Must pay to return. But 1/2 my $ back is better than this piece of cheap junk. ... show more
