I was a little worried because this was so inexpensive and a few of the reviews made it sound cheap (some problems with latches or kennel being crooked or bending easy) but it was super easy to unfold and clip, easy to use door latches and quality seems similar to kennels we've spent more on from Chewy. Our dog is an Alaskan Malamute/Husky mix and needed a larger kennel. She couldn't be happier. I'm not gonna try climbing on top of it to see if it bends or anything dumb like that but it's definitely strong enough to hold her and is exactly what I needed. It also arrived 5 days earlier than expected!

This review applies only to the very large 48" crate, for very large, heavy dogs. I don't think this will be an issue with lighter dogs in smaller crates, and in fact I just ordered another of these crates in a small size for a smaller pet. However, for the very large dogs, read this before you buy! I got this 18 months ago for my German Shepherd puppy, who is now 90 lbs. The crate itself has held up well, but the bottom tray has many cracks, where the wires on the bottom are, due to his weight pressing down on those wires. The problem is that I haven't been able to find a replacement tray in the exact dimensions. The various brands of crates have differing dimensions, so the closest size I could find is only 42 inches long, leaving a gap of 4 inches. My dog doesn't really take up the entire space anyway, and I cover the tray with a soft pad, so it'll have to do. The crate is significantly cheaper than most of the other brands, and I like the 2 doors. So...if you want to save money, go ahead and get the crate, but if you have a large dog, be sure to put a layer of cardboard on top of the bottom wires, below the tray. That will cushion the tray so it should last longer. I'm doing that now with the new tray. I wonder if the trays on the higher-priced brands last longer? But at least the Midwest brand offers replacement trays! Bestpet doesn't. This is only an issue with the large crates. My smaller dog's crate didn't get cracked because she doesn't weigh as much. (She weighs 70 lbs and sleeps in the 42 " crate. My 90-lb dog sleeps in the 48" crate.)

I was so surprised when I received it at first I thought my kids had bought me a TV. When I pulled it out of the box it is huge. As my puppy grows he will have a home. I also received it five days early. I highly recommend this cage and company. It is worth every penny. Only thing that was wrong the handle was broken other than that Rusty and I love it

So, the price is great! It gets the jod done, but trying to latch and unlatch the kennel door is a pain! Its almost as if they are a little off center so they dont line up right. It takes about 1 minute to get the kennel door latched or unlatched instead of the normal 5 seconds it should take. When it comes to a lab puppy that really needs to go potty and has to wait for us to fiddle with the latches, it has resulted in some accidents. Also, the divider that comes with the kennel is pointless. The puppy leans against it, and it pops off. Constantly have to adjust that. So overall, the price that I got this, was amazing for a kennel, but you do get what you pay for. If it was not for the latches this would be getting 5 stars. Once the puppy is large enough, we will see how well the side door works

Was worth the price. Have not folded it since received. I use it all the time works for potty trusting will. The bottom tray is not chew proof as I would not expect it to be.
