got this for my 6wk old pup, she's now 6mo. i've kept it on my bed and now that's she's older i leave it open, she and my 11yr old dog both sleep in it. hang out in it. she keeps her toys in it. it's roomy for two small dogs.. lots of extra space... there's blankets and a dog bed in it currently. i first had her at (2lbs) in a larger metal crate, and it was just too big and cold and felt like a cage. she has come to love her crate and when we travel or sleep elsewhere it's easy and lightweight to take with me so she always feels safe. highly recommend for small puppies. of course the first week she cried every night, but now she loves it. i recommend what i did: i got a play pen, and for the first few months the crate stayed in the play pen... so she had room to come out and play and room for a pee pad but i could leave her for a couple hours at a time safely. i still use both the play pen and the crate.. the play pen is at grandma's for while im at work now and the crate stays on the bed bc she feels safe sleeping in it. both are used daily and great ways to confine small dogs for safety, comfort, and your own peace of mind to get things done. dogs are den animals, after all, and like a small quiet place to retreat to.

Easy to assemble, easy to fold. Good quality. I only had an issue with the stitching in one of the exterior pockets but decided to keep it because it work perfectly for my cats' litter box when traveling. Likewise, it works for spending time outside without the need of a leash.

Bought for our 2 French Bulldog puppies. This was perfect for them from age 8 weeks to 14 weeks. Loved the handles on top-you just pick them up and go into the car or by your side sleeping. I put a washable dog bed and a throw blanket (which needed washing every day) to keep them comfortable and feeling warm and secure. I ordered a second one because the first was so impressive. Once my puppies could jump on top of this though it soon had the wire rods poking through which was a hazard to the pups. This is still 5 stars for use, the 3 doors are a huge plus. Once the dogs are not attacking everything like pups do, these will come back out for use. This is perfect for calm mature smallish dogs for temporary shelter or transport.

Sufficient for its intended purpose which is for my senior dog that has special needs. I would have chosen another version and style-which was twice as much as this item, however, after a lot of digging I opted into getting a couple of mats with this one which should make him extra comfortable and cool inside this summer. This version isn't exactly what I would consider to be durable or high quality, but it's perfect for my situation and my dog too. He is my world and there isn't anything that I wouldn't do to make his world more comfortable and cozy. For the price point this is average at best but definitely a decent choice if you don't plan on using it for anything other than a short term fix or a sleeping zone. It's definitely portable and super easy to set up without any issues - but keep in mind it's pretty flexible and lightweight for a reason. If you need one more permanent and long term go with the hexagon version or a larger version that has higher ratings like this one- but of course if will be more expensive.

This gives my very old Yorkie a quiet cozy hideaway, it's Way bigger than I needed but I just don't put up both sides. I like it . I have to watch my very rowdy pup and not let her drag it around and give Yorkie a ride. But that's why she needed the hideaway in the first place! Plenty of room for blankets and doggie pillow. Could even put a potty pad in if needed.
