These work great for all my doodle dogs. I have 3, so one has to have a different collar. I have a barker. That's putting it mild, but it is high pitched, and she wasn't trained properly before I got her. She has reduced her barking in the past 9 months, but she still goes ape if someone/thing walks by our house over 100 feet away from her. There's also barking from excitement from visitors. 9 months and I relented to bark collars. She is an extremely good dog, unless she sees or hears another dog, or a "stranger" comes to the door. If she goes off, my other two dogs go off. If these had a remote to go with them they would be perfect, but they arw great for inside bark control (desperately needed) and backyard bark control (recent issue, since my neighbor has started working frkm home sometimes, and their dog sets off my dog who sets off my other two dogs, and the neighbor gets upset). I have not had an instance of errors with these collars when any of the 3 dogs wear them. I have not had instances where it misses a bark. She has learned that if she barks quietly (and I am ALL for quiet barking) she can alert me without the collar going off. This is what I want. I even forgot to put it back on her, after we were playing, and she did bark, but 50% was quiet barks, and when she saw a group of people, it was the louder barks. She is definitely learning from this collar and I am super grateful. I pair this with a different collar that has a remote, when we are going somewhere. The dogs typically jump straight in the vehicle, but sometimes hear a dog that "need assistance." 🙄 That means the bark collar works, but not to keep her on our property. This is why I wish these collars also have a remote. I have tried another bark collar that also works well, but she got used to it. I will likely have to rotate collars to prevent her from getting too used to one or the other before she is fully trained. It, at least, shouldn't take another 9 months The collars have very straightforward instructions. I charged them, set them, put the prongs and covers (I appreciate the silicone covers because I'm afraid she would get injured while learning otherwise), and adjust the collars to size. I do take them off when the dogs are playing and when they are sleeping (they talk in their sleep). I do wish they were an "all in one" with a remote, but they are great for the bulk of what I need to train for. It is important to note, as with any collar, if the dog senses danger, they will keep barking to make sure their loved ones are alerted to the danger. The collar will not prevent all barking because dogs are super loyal and will do anything to make sure YOU are alerted to possible danger. Do keep that in mind. The collar will cut back on nuisance barking.

I got two of these for my ranch dogs who bark at everything from ravens and hawks to deer, the neighbors minding their own business in their own yard, and sometimes just to bark. These collars are MAGIC! My dogs rarely bark now unless there is a real threat that they don’t like and even then it’s just one bark. And the best part is that these collars keep a charge longer than any other. I have one dog who used to just keep barking because he last bark collar would just run out of battery if she just outlasted it. This collar, she is a very calm quiet dog! It really is a great collar. And my dogs are roaming around the ranch with horses and getting into all sorts of things and these collars are still kicking!

I currently live in a 4 dog home — 2 of which are my roommates dogs. With this, my 2 dogs hearing people come in and out have started to bark continuously throughout the day and night. I needed a quick fix to help them to be trained to stop barking so I started with 1 bark collar for my more aggressive barker and the moment I put the collar on she barked once, was vibrated and shocked, and I have not heard a peep from her since. Furthermore, the collar is adjustable from XS-L size necks (just cut off and burn extra material if your pup is smaller). While also the comfortability and durability is amazing for the price!

Did not want to use a bark collar, but needed one for my very quick and stubborn 9 month old blue healer who just found her voice. Her loud, shrieking, ear-peircing high pitched voice. Doesn't help that across the fence there is an old female German shepherd who does not like other female dogs, which I didn't know as my last dog was a neutered male and they were buddies. Neighbor dog would go off, and then mine would go off, and I had no way of catching her or stopping her. Had an old training collar with a remote, but she caught on within hours that the remote (and therefore myself) was doing the triggering and I did not like that. Also it timed out after 5 minutes without using, so basically useless for this and my smart dog. So did a ton of research and read hundreds of reviews and settled on these. I also loose things constantly, so since 2 pack was on sale for the same price as the single at the time, I got the 2 pack. Started on combo level 2, had to increase to 3, then 4, and that worked wonders! Been using it for over a month and now if the neighbor dog goes off, mine will pay attention to it, put her hackles up, but leave her alone! Occasionally will bark once, but as soon as the collar beeps, she turns around and regroup. She is very intelligent and you can see her mind processing each step of learning. Hasn't been shocked in weeks, and that makes me happy. It has beeped twice inappropriately so far, once when she choked on horse poop and hacked loudly (was fine with that). And again when she grazed my arm with her teeth trying to grab a toy and I used my big assertive voice right in her face telling her no bite and putting her nose against the bruised wound with its barely a drop of blood so she knew she hurt me. Wasn't bad at all but you have to be extra dramatic with puppies so they don't escalate; it's how they learn (cognitive behavioral training for dogs). Anyway, one other issue is with the design of collar strapping. Yes it's adjustable, but you can't remove the bark unit from the collar itself. Which I really wanted to do after she rolled in horse perfume aka horse poop. I'm a handy seamstress, so I took it all apart and made it removable. If they could do that with all of them, that would be a bonus. Would be better if it was reflective too, black and white collar on a mostly black dog disappears in the dark. The bark part is supposed to be waterproof, but if you need to deep clean the fabric, its best not to test fate. If you want to do the same, I added step by step directions below. I definitely recommend this bark collar so far. Battery life seems incredible, hasn't gotten low yet, but I charge it every few weeks. Seems very durable and plug cover is snug and has kept water out so far (apparently my puppy likes to splash in puddles too😊). She scratches alot (didn't wear collar at all before I got her) and it has loosened some but remains intact. I added a homemade loop that goes around all layers and is very snug and that helps. Also made out of reflective fluorescent webbing so it helps me see her at night. Might sew it onto more of the webbing when I have the time. I also like that it it so slim and lightweight. Doesn't catch on things or hang down, actually stays up where its supposed to which is great. I do take it off at night, as she's quiet when she's sleeping with me, but it hasn't gone off when she does her little sleep whimpers during naps anyway. Doesn't go off when she whines either, but I like that so she can tell me if something is wrong or she needs something. I also got a set of word buttons (Kul Kings) for her to learn (yeah she's that smart) and she is getting pretty with the few we've started. Now she doesn't have to bark to go outside, she just steps on her outside button! Hope this all helps you choose a bark collar, but for the price, this one is definitely worth it. The speed and safety features seem unbeatable and it is definitely as good as advertised. Very glad I chose this one, and will definitely buy again if I ever need to, but hopefully they'll last me a long long time! 1. Cut webbing from bark collar on both sides of bark collar 2. On short webbing side, cut off of buckle, set buckle aside and discard webbing peice 3. Cut long webbing peice at the very edge of metal rivet and discard rivet and end. 4. Melt edge carefully with lighter or wood/leather burning kit/soldering iron etc. Make sure its smooth enough to fit through collar and buckle 5. Run new end up through one end of bark collar, over top, and down through other end. Yes, this does block display, but its easy to pull webbing away when you need to see it, and once its on a good setting for your dog, you never really need to look at it. 6. Now run webbing end through bucke that you set aside, from top to bottom (can buckle it to end attached to other end of webbing to make sure its oriented correctly) 7. Fold end over and secure into place. Can sew with heavy duty or double thread, use non toxic heavy duty fabric glue or similar, or rivet if you have a kit, etc. 8. Done! Now if you need to take it apart to wash (recomend taking a picture of webbing as it is first and right before you take it out of buckle), take loose end of webbing out through the slide adjuster, buckle, and bark collar and don't loose the peices! Then you can wash the webbing by hand or machine wash (in a lingerie bag). Make sure the end isn't frayed first, may need to gently melt edge before/after. 9. Hang or lay out to dry. When it's dry, use pictures to thread it back through collar, adjuster, and buckle.

This product is amazing. Our 10 month old medium Golden Doodle was possessed by the Bark Devil. We tried many things to stop the barking. None worked! A friend of ours recommended this Dog Bark Collar. It is Transformational!!! It has done an amazing job exorcising the Bark Devil from our puppy!!! It works automatically when the dog barks. you do not need to provide a response. He is now a true joy in our lives.
