Edit: I was contacted by KOZYC after writing this review and was issued a full refund for my defective dock. They were quick and responsive. Customer service gets 5 stars. This dock worked great the first few times I used it. I have my HDMI connected to my monitor and it does not want to display. Not sure if it's user error but I'm having a difficult time getting it to work consistently. Do yourself a favor and just spend the extra money on the valve OEM dock.

Out of the 3 docking stations I own (I don't have the official one though) this one is my favorite. It does exactly what is supposed to do and more. I use it whenever I want to play my games on a large screen. And as you can see from the attached pictures, it works great (Monster Hunter Rise Game). You can also use it for your Nintendo Switch as you can see from my pictures (Pokemon Scarlet). The only thing is that the Nintendo is upside down which I don't mind. This also works just as a stand that adds USB ports for your Steam Deck so you can connect a controller and/or USB receiver for a keyboard or Headset. The best part is that you can use it without continuously charging your Steam Deck, something one of my other docking stations can't do (See my pictures for reference). The only thing you need to be aware of is that when your Steam Deck has around 28 to 32% battery left, the things that are connected to the USB port (a controller in my case) will turn off until you connect the charger to the docking station, which is not a big deal for me. I give this docking station 4.5 stars. I recommend it if you need something that works for both your Steam Deck and your Nintendo Switch.

I bought this for my brother's girlfriend, she plays on steam deck but wanted to play on a monitor like us. We picked up this dock and it worked immediately, almost flawless. 6 months later and it's a glorified usb hub. The hdmi functionality has been broken with small signs it could function. I've narrowed it down to the dock all but officially replacing it. I broke the desktop mode trying to make this product work again. Had to do a complete factory reset, steam decks working great but does not detect the dock. Just a warning to other purchasers, save up for the official dock, you'll get another offical charger, updates and customer support for a small premium.

the hdmi worked fine for like 10 minutes but im pretty sure the dock was the reason it was forcing 600x800 resolution. then after trying to trouble shoot that the hdmi no longer works... tried different hdmi chord and everything but stilly broken. sad :(

Got this for a grandson to use when he is here (quite a bit). He brings his Steam Deck with him and was always grouching how he missed his dock. I was about to go all "You don't know how good you got it" when I remembered how much I loved it when I came back from a business trip to the office and plugged my laptop into my docking station. SO nice to have a real keyboard, big monitor, full-size mouse, etc. I do not know the details, but apparently there is an equivalent scenario with a Steam Deck and its dock. One thing I probably should have thought of was getting another power supply (45w, I think). Might do that. For now he can just drag the one he has back and forth. Anyway, he is very satisfied with it and says it pretty much works the same as his "real one." I assume the manufacturer offers one he is comparing to. He is happy and it is cheap. Marking this as a win and moving on.
