These shorts are well-made, in a good light khaki colored fabric. The length is as advertised, but they are tight so consider upsizing if you have larger thighs or bottom.

I ordered these Dockers shorts in size 38 because I wear a size 38 in Levi's 505 jeans and Kohl's Sonoma brand shorts and casual slacks. Turns out the Dockers are a little tight, even with the stretch waistband. So just reordered them in size 40. Update: Just received a pair with 40" waist, and they are too big. I've had other pants and shorts like this, where one size was too small, the next size up too big. So, this is not a knock on the shorts, because they look well made and the cotton is fairly thick. So these shorts are nice, they fit well, but the white is kinda see through. I’m sure they’d be fine in a darker color, but the husband probably won’t end up wearing them.

These have been my go to shorts for years now. A couple of the older ones (5 + years) are beginning to wear out, a button popped off on one of my oldest, but they last a while! Great quality. Size has never been an issue for me, I’m 5’9” 165 # and wear a 33” w…it’s a comfortable fit, lose enough to wear a belt and they don’t seem to shrink if washed in cold. The discrete phone pocket is my favorite feature…I pickup a new pair or two once a year now, when they go on sale. The shorter 8” length is perfect…not too short (like Chubby or the other trendy ones). Highly recommend these. ... show more
