    • NOT compatible with any carrier except Verizon. Bait and Switch.
Phone is NOT compatible with AT&T. It was advertised and purchased as being unlocked, ready to use for any GSM carrier. Used it on Verizon network for almost 2 years. With a physical SIM card and an eSIM. Tried switching to AT&T and it wouldn't make or receive calls. I can send and receive text messages. I can get on the 5G and 4G networks and use the data. But no phone calls. WTF. Phone still functions fine and still works on Verizon, but Verizon has gone way downhill in my area. Actually, they suck in my area. Used to be good, then they abandoned everyone here and just don't care about their customers anymore. Kind of like people that sell a phone as compatible when it wasn't. And we're way past the 90 day return policy. The phone works fine, on Verizon, and Verizon alone. It was falsely advertised. Some people would even call this fraud. My phone arrived looking PERFECT. It looks brand new externally without a visual blemish on it staying true to the EXCELLENT condition standard. Setup was rather smooth. The only hiccup I encountered was that the phone didn't recognize my Mint Mobile SIM card for some reason. Looking for an answer, I found that I could use an eSIM setup to get around that which got my service on the new device. I'm not sure why the phone didn't recognize the SIM. The phone appears to be working fine so far. If anything drastically changes I'll update this review. ... show more

4.5 stars... Had to restart and transfer 3 times.... Put your SIM card in first to do the transfer so it picks up the new carrier which required a full reset. Was a little weird about the battery life at first but seems to have settled down

LATEST UPDATE: So the replacement unit IS well worth the purchase. I've revised from one, to three stars for all the hassles, otherwise the phone itself is superb and deserves 5. Samsung remains among the best for quality and reliability and although it isn't made in the USA...it's NOT made in chi-NA like most other brands. The seller, "prime mobility" dispatched the unit quickly and while FedEx flubbed-up, the seller provided a positive transaction. UPDATE: During activation, the device would not recognize "any" SIM. Had to go through the hassle of a return as well as trying to get my "business" number "reactivated" on the original device this junk was replacing. Sadly more and more, Amazon is metastasizing into that "Eee-Bay sort'a thing". ORIGINAL: In most circumstances, Amazon's "renewed" products meet or exceed expectations. Unfortunately, not in this case. The unit I received was NOT in "excellent condition" but had small divots in the side and scratches in the back lens bezel. The unit was more in-line with "good condition", which was considerably cheaper. Otherwise, all else was as expected from a Samsung phone, that's why the military prefers them over "other" brands. They have some of the most trusted encryption which makes them less vulnerable to hack and track. ... show more
