I just got it and it is beautiful and fits very well (6’4’’ and 220 P - XL). It is not very thick and the inside is not the softest, but for the price it looks amazing. I do not know how warm is it, since I have not wear it to very cold places, but it seems ok. Very happy with the purchase.

The coat is nice but for XL-Tall it’s very big. More like 2X. I’m 6”3 about 220. I live in China so sending this back for a large is more headache than it’s worth. You decide. It’s warm and that’s what one needs in Northern China. It’s still pretty nice and it does the job.

Medium weight winter coat with a classic peacoat cut. Perfect for those wanting a casual but city vibes. Great for going out without too much overkill. I typically wear Large but the back is a bit snug, so definitely be mindful if you're a bit on the broader side. Has great thin lining on the inside so it isn't bulky at all. Pockets are adequate where you can carry your keys and wallet comfortably. Great quality stitching across the jacket, very subtle. Would recommend as a nice go to coat. Not the warmest, since this is a midweight coat. You can layer under and you'll be fine. ... show more

I'm in what you would call your 'middle ages' - but I came from the generation that invented the internet as we know it today, the IT industry which I've worked in since the beginning, and a gamer at heart. I found the concept of the "pea-coat" through "The Long Dark." I remember playing this game and thinking that the coat was quite attractive and functional - a mix of style, substance, utility, and heft. When this came up for vine-selection and review, it was a no-brainer for me. This jacket came a few days after ordering it - delivered on time, and well before the "cold season" in SE Texas. I finally got to wear it at the time I write this review several weeks later. After taking delivery of it, trying it on, and hanging it up in the closet waiting for the right day to wear it, I went the extra mile and picked up a Greek fisherman's hat - which is almost EXACTLY what you see paired with coats like this. The jacket itself is well made, fits good and is plenty warm. The stitching on the buttons are a little ... dodgy, but as long as I'm aware of this, I can take steps to ensure they last, or can fix them before it's too late. I love the coat - so much so that I bought a complimentary hat JUST to wear with it. I've attached a photo of me wearing both to give you some context on size and scale. I'm 6'1" and 210 pounds or so, so hopefully the visual can help you decide if this will work for you. ... show more
