This product was a little hard to install, but so far so good. Took me a couple of hours to install. It’s a little heavier than I’d hoped it would be. May be a little difficult to remove quickly. Here are a couple of steps that may help out customers with install. After you put on the front clamps, replace the short rod ones on the back 4 with the longer ones. Slide the rubber clamp holder piece towards the center on the bed past the opening to replace the rods. Put 2 of the back of the brackets into the utility track close to the tailgate and slide it towards the cab. Put on the bolt closest to the cab, keep it loose, then add the second bolt. Do not tighten down so you can slide the bracket to where you need it. Once you get it where you need it, tighten down the bolts. The hole on the brackets are oval shape, put it as close to the bottom as you can so the clamp will work. Do this for the middle 2, then repeat for the back 2. Note: I folded it back and forth while tightening the bolts and adjusting the clamps to make sure everything was good and to make it easier to work. Note: You do not have to screw the clamps on very much. It barely fits for me. Con: I do not like that the tie down buckles are so close to the cab, it is very difficult to unbuckle. It is easier if you do it from the back of the bed, using both hands and putting a finger on both sides to unbuckle. I will update if I have any further issues.

Overall install was easy, about an hour. My issue was the molding in the driver side of the bed was torn. Will it make I difference, we will see. The extra molding they provide you to place on the edge of bed by the cab area and the tailgate area is not enough. So choose which side will need it most. It's purpose, to help seal gaps that might otherwise allow water, etc in. Had I received enough molding and not a torn section, a 5-star would have been provided.

There are two versions of the soft trifold that fits the 2013 Nissan Frontier 5' bed to choose from on their item page. One is for the 05-21 which specifically states that it "Fits Models without Bed Rail System", which my Frontier has, so I purchased the one for the 05-19 that was $11 more that I assumed would fit since there was no statement stating otherwise for that model. I had already started the install, and made it fit the best I could, I even had to modify it (pictured) by drilling out four rivets then moving the cross bar that holds the rear clamp and T-bar to a position clear of the bed rail system. I noticed at the end of the instructions, after I had already modified the cross bar, it seems I should have got another package with a few J-shaped aluminum brackets and hardware that are positioned in the bed rail system to make the attachments. I guess that's what the extra $11 was supposed to pay for. I don't want to return it for a refund since I already struggled to make it fit, but I will be contacting the business to either refund me that $11 or send me the package of "alternative brackets" for the bed rail system so I can move the cross bar back to the original location and replace the rivets. Edit: Lowered the 4-star to a 3-star, was unable to contact seller. Called the customer service number multiple times, went through the proper prompts each time, and the system kept dropping the call after a minute of waiting for a representative. It's a nice tonneau, but don't purchase it if you have the factory bed rails unless you have no problem drilling out rivets and modifying it.

Excellent product! Most are $500+++ range and does not have as good protection and max weight bearing as this! Bought it winter time and been installed for 2 months now. Hopefully hold up to the snow condition but it shouldnt be an issue i hope. So far, Satisfied!

The holes in the front brackets needed to be drilled out in order to fit the T bolt through them. Lever clamps that lock and release the rear section are plastic and flimsy not sure how long they will last. Overall easy install and fits the frontier crew cab nicely.

The overall product seems sturdy and well enough made, the only issue is the retention buckle placement. You can see it the picks, there is a female buckle end, on both sides, that are attached via rivet. If you fold the cover all the way open, the male buckle straps lock in and hold the cover open. It issue is they make it so the cover doesn’t sit flush against the back of the cab, mine was gapped by about an inch. I have some weather stripping on the back bed rail and I hope it holds but you can see, the buckle placement is a poor design choice.
