Got this for my grandma's 1997 silverado and the installation was straight forward, and she is able to open and close it by herself. Cover looks to be good quality, and just for fun I climbed inside the bed and had her shut the tailgate, only light I could see was from the actual gaps in the tailgate, so not expecting water proof obviously but it does seem like it'll keep most water out.

5 stars if it fit the bed on my 97 K1500 extended cab bed completely. Just a tad short but workable. Simple basic roll up cover that is very functional. It works for me!

2001 GMC Sonoma Extended Cab. The cover isn’t terrible for the price, but the fasteners literally do not work at all. I even tried removing my plastic bed liner and that also did nothing. I had to heavily modify the equipment just so that it would stay on the truck.

I have had hard bed covers and decided to try this out for a more era correct part while redoing my 1500. I was skeptical and thought it may not cover the stake holes but it does. It’s a bit to adjust it if your bed is t perfect. The seal is a must for beds that have any bowing to them by the cab. Mine was slight and I get a tiny bit of light at the tailgate all the way as far back as I can and keeping the front seal. It’s cheap, seems like a really durable material and the rails are nicely done. Going to buy this same one for my dually.

I've had this tonneau cover installed on my truck for about 2 months, and it is performing as expected. It appears to be almost completely water tight. It let in a small amount of water in a front corner, but that could be due to my placement. I would say that it would be better if this cover was about a half inch to an inch longer, to insure better coverage. I've had no issue with the clamps. I haven't removed the cover completely, since installed, but I've folded back the cover and it worked as expected. It took less than an hour to install, for the first time. I believe now that I could remove it in less than 5 minutes, and have it back on in less than 10. The key is getting it placed so it covers both the front and rear of the bed. Overall for the price, this is an excellent option for a soft tonneau cover. It's easy to install, easy to use, and it's made with good materials.
