Description
Aluminum racing radiator is designed to provide maximum cooling efficiency to prevent premature engine failure. Its light-weight, and high-heat transferring aluminum features a tube and fin design that, dramatically increases surface area that enables the heat to dissipate more efficiently. This racing radiator is at least 40% more efficient than stock ones. Most importantly, it has a much higher capacity for coolant than stock ones, which means that your cooling system will be more efficient and will be more resistant to temperature surges in racing applications.

i had my regular repair shop install the radiator; they were very impressed with the product and had been looking for a non plastic radiator because other customers were asking for an all metal unit. when i told her the price which is about $60 less than what they normally pay NAPA for a plastic radiator, and that it was dual core, they were definitely impressed. it has been about a month now, and no issues. personally, i think this is a great buy because of quality of workmanship and appearance; if it holds up for years, it will be a grand slam...

1989 22re really big

All bolts line up except one of the shroud holes, but as you can see in my picture, this radiator is WAY bigger than the OEM. Amazon says it doesn’t fit but I went for it anyways. I’m happy with the extra size, I was dealing with overheating issues often in the summer and as far as 3 core aluminum radiators go, this was a good deal. The cap just barely scratched the inside of my hood, it does stick up considerably higher than normal, and the hoses line up a bit different. No leaks so far, the whole radiator looks to be painted with a silver metallic paint, but it’s definitely aluminum. 22re still functions great and thermostat opens just fine. Extra size is a plus in my eyes 👍

Little big but seems put together okay.

Just got it installed today and my 94 SR5 5speed dosent seem to have the clearance issues others are talking about. With that said yes it's a tight fit, the top bucket is about 1/8inch+ taller than stock. The cap it came with was a 1.1 and the stock one is a .9 so little higher psi but not a huge issue. All the bolt holes line up just fine and the water port location is good, including the overflow tank port. Welds look ok on it (some arnt straight but still cover the joint). After a week or so of 90+ days here I'll update if there are any issues with quality.

Small mods needed to fit but worth it!

The only thing that comes to mind is awesome, had to trim the back side of the hood to make it fit. The radiator cap is bigger than the original, causing a small fit issue. At least on a 88 Toyota pickup with the 3.0 v6
