The lower pipe and the drain plug are on opposite sides so hookups do not match, Amazon says it was a guaranteed fit for my van, which it was not.     • Not a perfect fit on my 1999 Grand Caravan

This radiator was made to fit a variety of different vehicles. So while it will work on a 1999 Dodge Grand Caravan it's not an ideal fit. The design and mounting leaves a considerable gap between the radiator and the fans. About a half inch or slightly more. This means less air is pulled through the radiator for cooling the liquid coolant. Another problem is the cheap tabs on top that are supposed to hold the top of the radiator to the condenser. They don't line up properly and are pretty much useless. For Grand Caravans with transmission coolers and the supplemental rear AC condenser this radiator is on the borderline of being insufficient for cooling the vehicle engine in hot weather stop and go traffic. The fans have to stay on all the time. A thicker core is needed. This one has a 1.25 inch thick core. This vehicle really could use a 2 inch thick core for optimum cooling. ... show more
