As another reviewer noted, this radiator is taller than the stock (in my case, a 1995 Toyota 4Runner with 3vze). The plastic tank on the top is much higher than the original (the bottom plastic tank is a little taller also). After installation, the hood had to be slammed to fully close. The felt liner on the hood was hitting the radiator cap. Maybe there might be a very small clearance if the hood liner was not there. Having that pressure on the cap all the time would likely eventually lead to a leak from the plastic tank, so I removed it. I could have probably open up the mounting holes to allow the radiator to drop down a little, but I did not want to risk drilling the holes out and causing a leak somewhere, so I returned the radiator and ordered one with a top tank that looks more like the original. Hope it works -- I don't want to keep messing with this... ... show more
