We used this on our recent cruise to Alaska. It connected securely to our DJI Osmo Action 5 camera. It's light enough that it doesn't wear you out holding it. It's easy on your hand - doesn't become painful at all. The base is stable - we used it when dining ro film the dinner shows. Very pleased.

It’s good, but a few things DJI could have thought of. I like the size, but DJI already provides the longer ~12” version with the kit. I thought this would be the same quality but this mini is all plastic compared to the longer stick they provide that has some various aluminum pieces fitted. Ok, I can live with that, but then the real reason I gave it a 4 - so the longer stick can’t be used as a tripod, so I thought I would be able to add this mini to the longer stick and create tall tripod tower. But the end of the mini doesn’t allow you to screw it in to the longer stick. I feel like that was a miss, they could have designed it to do so easily, or at least provided an adapter but they did not. So, it’s a great size, still seems like good quality but missing some functionality imo. ... show more

my favorite part of owning the action 4 is this tripod. Its so tiny but so useful. The stick itself feels sturdy and the magnetic snap on system is also really handy bc it makes it easy to snap on and off. Highly recommend.

I bought the Osmo Action 5 and needed a compatible tripod of sorts. This mini extension rod is very compact, extends just the perfect length, and sits well on a table-top as a tripod. I absolutely love this tool and I'd deem it a must grab if you're even thinking about it.
