I got the original batteries that came with…they are the lighter non extended batteries and they work well enough for me. I’m 65 and never flew a drone before until getting this one. I absolutely love it. I’ve mapped out most of the rivers and lakes by me now. I plan on more in the fall when the leaves turn. Easy to use just by watching YouTube videos. ... show more

After doing the math, this was a better value for the DJI Mini 4 Pro Fly More than buying it alone. Initially, I was going to buy just the DJI Mini 4 Pro Fly More kit for $1159. Honestly I wanted to get it next day and almost everyone was 2+ days. The weekend was coming. I saw this and it included next day delivery for me. The price was $1299. So the difference in price was $140. I am brand new to the Drone world. I looked at what was offered and honestly its a better deal than buying it alone. Stuff was included I didnt know I needed. The biggest add on was the DJI Care. I didnt even know this existed. Its $125 from DJI. Basically covers you for 2 years against anything happening to your drone. If you lose it, break it, it flies away, they replace it up to 2 time in 2 years! Perfect for someone new and you have to buy it within 48 hours of first drone activation. I also didnt know I was going to need a FAST MicroSD card. Makes sense in retrospect. They included a 64GB which is great for starting out. $10-$14 on Amazon. Landing pad. Sounds useless and it might be. I havent used it yet becasue I have a good launch place. However, you cant launch in grass, bad in sand, etc. Depending on where you are it can be useful. $10-$20 more. The little strobe is great if you want to fly in low light conditions. I have it if I need it. Another $10+. Lens cleaning kit, worth having. $15-$20. Total it up and it was actually less than buying the things I valued and needed that I would have waited for after realizing I needed them. If this isnt your first drone, it might not have as much value, but the DJI Care 2 year and SD card make it a better value than buying just the drone. The biggest thing I WISH had been included was a nexk strap for the controller. I have one ordered and it wasnt offered, but thats something you will want for sure. Overall, the Mini 4 Flymore is amazing. I live near a green space with water in Florida. Looking for alligators! I have Cranes out there all the time. I am getting great shots without harassing the wildlife as I can easily keep distance. I bought this drone thinking its small and portable and has all the features of the Air 3 and the Mavic 3 Pro. It was a good start and all I really need for now. If I stick with it I will upgrade in the future! ... show more

What fun! Once I figured out how to like the controller to my phone (via WiFi) elinitialization was quite easy. First flight...didn't crash it. Second flight...took video & didn't crash it! Everything needed to fly was provided. The Fly More DOES let you fly more! I would definitely recommend the DJI mini 4 pro! One caveat is that Congress is trying to outlaw DJI products. They apparently think my flying my drone over my farm will interesting to China. That's the only reason I'm giving a 4 star rating. ... show more

The everything you need is in the box. Registeration and RID are the same number. I had to research to find that out and it would have been nice is the box or instructions told me that. Otherwise great drone. Plenty of aftermarket accessories too.

    • Don’t buy DJI products from Adorama
I bought the DJI Mini4 Pro drone from Adorama along with the advertised 2 year Care Refresh plan. Someone recommended to get this coverage to handle breakage or ‘flyaway’ issues. Adorama should have processed the warranty along with my order and prior to shipping but they did not. I called them every day to handle this and noone knew what they were doing. They said ‘we’ll ask our team to look into it, and it will take 24-48 houts. Every one read off scripts and could not help me. Every time I called back, it was the same answer but no service. Adorama ending up refunding me for something I bought and wanted (2 year extended warranty on DJI Drone) but Adorama did not handle the order correctly or on time and wasted a lot of my time with bad information and worse service. I was able to purchase directly from DJI after shooting a complicated video verification and wasting more time. Do NOT purchase any DJI product from Adorama. ... show more
