  • DJI Mini 4 Pro does not support obstacle avoidance after installing the propeller guard and cannot actively detour or brake when it senses an obstacle. When using intelligent features, the aircraft will not have obstacle avoidance capability.

    • Great training device!
I ordered these propeller guards to help me while I was learning how to fly my drone. Be advised that they interfere with the sensors on the drone and obstacle avoidance will be deactivated while attached. They do add a significant weight to the drone thus reducing the available flight time per battery. One thing to remember when these are installed, the drone now weighs more than 249 grams and the drone must be registered with the FAA to fly it, and the extra power battery must be used as this will activate the Remote ID Feature of the Mini 4 Pro drone as also required by the FAA since it now weighs more than 249 grams. One last thing to remember is that these propeller guards are now required by the FAA when flying over people with the Mini 4 Pro due to emergency procedure requirements (new change). ... show more

The DJI Mini 4 Pro 360° Propeller Guard is an excellent addition to my drone kit! It's incredibly easy to install, and it provides full protection without adding much weight to the drone. The 360° coverage ensures that the propellers are well-guarded during flights, especially in tight or tricky environments. WORKS AS EXPECTED, BUT ADDS WEIGHT. THE ADDED WEIGHT SLOWS THE RESPONSE AND REDUCES FLY TIME. I TOOK MINE OFF BECAUSE I USED “ AVOIDANCE FEATURE BELIEVING THE PROTECTION WAS NOT NEEDED.     • Ineffective
Seriously effects performance. They are too heavy and cause the drone to just stop midair. They're also too flexible, so if the drone does bump a wall, it still crashes due to propeller interference. They also cause the drone to be very unbalanced which makes controlling it very difficult.

    • Makes your Drone weigh over 250 Grams!
This works perfect on a DJI 4 MINO pro BUT it will put the weight over 250 grams and make it necessary for a part 107 license to fly. It will also use up thr battery power quicker.

    • If you’re gonna be flying a DJI Neo by this
it doesn’t quite fit perfectly, but it does fit really well. It adds some weight but the added protection makes it worthwhile, especially when you’re flying the drone for your young son who absolutely loves anything that goes zoom! I would definitely recommend getting it. Installation is not a piece of cake, but it also doesn’t take very long. It just doesn’t fit perfectly within the mid frame section as it rises a little bit, but I’ve fumbled with this thing for a while getting it into the notches that it is supposed to and it does fit into the notches and it does do what I bought it for so I am overly impressed. It is saved my aircraft from multiple trees, sidewalks, and around the house beatings it doesn’t mess with the overall functionality of the aircraft either that I’ve noticed thus far. ... show more

Well made and very secure. Avoidance sensors are null and void, Heavy, wind resistants' is zero but they will definitely do its intended job.
