As an ebike enthusiast/builder when it came to selecting the right ride for my wife I needed something that provided ample power to scale the steep inclines that surround our neighborhood but stable enough to enjoy the flats on the beach. The variable in this choice has been her size as she clocks in at 5' 1" and 115#. While there are smaller bikes, few offer the beefy power and rock-solid stability of the Super Bike and the step-thru design negates some of the mount/dismount problems some of those of shorter stature encounter with traditional frames of this size and heft. Having navigated some mildly diverse terrain with this bike, the Mozo suspension fork makes a big difference in the balance and control of the ride in a positive way. Throw in a seat that is simply put second-to-none and you have a smooth ride that puts comfort first. This bike seat rides much less like a bicycle and much more like a motorcycle and that is a good thing if you are looking for a comfortable ride. The stem offers some angular tuning which will helped with positioning the handlebars so as to keep her ride position sufficiently relaxed. The frame does well to hide the ample 13Ah battery under the seat but the real toy is the 750W rear hub motor. The way DJ has integrated that power into the pedal-assist/thumb-throttle combo keeps the full power of the hub at thumbs reach whenever you grow tired of pedaling--should you choose to pedal at all. I initally had my reservations on the lack of pneumatic braking at this price point--but the Tektro brakes are superb and well matched at the end of the day. The only problem I have had with this bike has been finding matching panniers for her. The frame adds a unique scoop to the second seat support and using a wider gauge of piping that makes regular clip panniers a no go. Leather ones sagged too much but I eventually solved this by snatching up a set of expandble 'motorcycle' panniers designed to sling across the second seat of a Harley. With them onboard she can easily ride to the beach carrying a large volume (45L) of goods and sundries--but the power of the Super Bike means she never even notices the added weight whatsoever. Just right in all the right places--great, well designed bike--would purchase again!

It was smooth, solid bike, loved using it daily, great traction, comfortable BUT after 41 days (102 miles) the bike had an ‘error 21’ and no longer worked. I emailed customer support several times, called Canadian store, joined groups of owners to get a response to why I am having the issue. The store did send me parts (no directions) after 15 days but honestly , paying $1700 for a bike and the expectation that I needed to fix it and figure it out on my own became too much. I soooo wanted to love this bike and I did while it worked. I have asked to exchange the bike several times and met with silence. I gave up and now it sits - basically trash. So buyer beware - they don’t have the support in USA to handle issues and I sense they are spread thin. If you know a lot of about bikes - you may be ok. But for me, it was a $1700 mistake! Lesson learned!

I had a problem with my bike when the charger broke so I bought a new one and thought that would solve my problem but it did not. The company then sent me three other chargers for free to see if they would work but it was not the solution. The team worked really hard to figure out what was wrong and sent me over multiple pictures and videos on how to fix the bike. In the end, the charger port fuse was blown and just had to be replaced but I would have never known that if it wasn't for the amazing customer. Also, the bike itself is so good, I have about 1700 miles clocked on my mine and rode it almost everyday it worked. If you are thinking of buying an ebike with a good customer service team if something goes wrong, this is the company to buy from!!!

These bike are very well built, customer service is A1 , my wife an I took our first rail trail ride and we cannot say enough good things sbout these bikes, battery life A1, comfort A1, ease of use A1, at 60 + and mot best if health we are back to enjoying riding bikes. Purchased the folding step through for my wife who is 4’11” and after changing the seat and lowering the handle bars 2” it fits her great , I am 5’7” and the super fits me just fine, HIGHLY RECOMMEND DJ BIKES

I know you can get an e bike from any supplier. they all come from china. but what you can't get is the punctual above and beyond service that dj bikes provides for their product support. I have reached out many times for general questions, customer support, parts replacement, and have never had an issue getting what I needed done or delivered.. compare that with the other vendors of e bikes that leave you in the dark and on your own after the sale. I would go to DJ bike for an e-bike just for that!

We live on a fairly large trail system we have had these for a few days I put both together in a couple hours with my tools. These are a blast mine will go around 32km hr I’m 6’ 265 lbs and have no issues riding this. The seat is awesome added Bluetooth speaker and storage bag. They are fun.

Great smooth ride, easy to charge. I have fallen in love with my bike. I do about 15-20 miles per day, great excerise and I get stopped alot by passengers by, asking what type of bike it is. It handles extremely well, and now I hate when it has to go to the shop for any reason. It just means thats a day ot two without my bike. The customer service for the DJ Super Bike is amazing as well. They really take care of their customers. I highly recommend this one.
