This does what it says, but the cup isn't user friendly to actually consume from. The lid and "lip" do not stay on and the folds inside make it difficult to get all of the slush out. We make the slushie in the cup and shake it into a different cup to eat.

This cup does freeze any liquid put into it. However the interior cup is very small and has pockets that are hard to clean. My son loves ice and cold drinks so I would purchase again for him but the design could be improved.
