This is exactly like I wanted. I bought a purse a month ago that had a chain strap. The strap was only 43”, and as someone who is very tall with broad shoulders, it was incredibly uncomfortable and looked ridiculous as a cross-body, and wasn’t secure as a shoulder-bag. So I purchased this chain which is over 60”. It’s a little too long, so I ordered a different one that was 50.5”. But while it was long it was very sturdy, strong, and looked beautiful. The real is like dark charcoal or gunmetal. It’s almost black but not quite. The clips on the end let me use it on multiple items. Like purses, wallets, makeup kits, etc. as metal it’s very heavy, but surprisingly not uncomfortable. I thought a chain as a strap would dig into my shoulder, but it really doesn’t feel any different than a thin leather strap. While the specific size didn’t work for me, the quality, appearance, and function of the product is exactly as advertised.

Perfect length for my Selkie pillow purse since the original strap that came with the bag was too long for my short frame. Color and width of the chain was almost an exact match you’d never know the difference. Hopefully it holds up well!

I’m 5” tall and when attached to my handbag it sits a few inches above my hip. I think the next size up would have been a little long. Quality chain for the price. We’ll see how it holds up!
