Bought an XXL for my 9 yrs old granddaughter (4ft9in tall 110 lbs) and it’s way too small. It’s more a size 8 instead of a 14 what I expected. Very nice quality. Just unfortunately too small. So keep it for my 7 yrs old skinny grandson.

I bought this for my daughter to wear while wet caving and it worked great. The outside air temperature was 37 when we entered the cave. The water temperature was in the 50s. The wetsuit kept her warm and mostly dry. It did not restrict her movement in any way and fit well enough that we had no problem getting her caving clothes on over the wetsuit. It’s a good wetsuit for the price. We got it for our 7 years old and he’s been wearing it for his indoor swimming lessons. He likes it because it keeps him relatively warm and it helps him floating. His instructor said that wetsuits are not ideal for kids who are learning to swim but i’d take that on having my son freezing and shaking during the whole lesson. It does run small, we got the L size (according to chart) for our son who is 48” tall and weighs 46 lbs. It’s already extremely tight & bit short for him. I bought this to replace the other wet suit that smelled like a skunk. It is very decent, has a list plastic odor but nothing too offensive and I am sure it will wash off. I only gave it 4 stars because the medium size was slightly tight. I have a small bodied and skinny 6 year old boy. He can still wear his 4 -5 short size. It fits his body but short in the sleeves and legs. He finds it comfortable. I may return for a large size if I have time before our trip. I would suggest a medium fits a realistic 4-5 year old. ... show more

Fit chart was very accurate for my daughter who is very slim and so I think this would work for a normal to slightly plumper body. But larger kiddos may be snug. Kept her nice and warm through East coast winter swim lessons.

So far so good. They have been worn a few times for swim lessons in the indoor pool that is cooler than they can handle for an hour long lesson. We have a small and medium. The small is on a 36.5 inches tall and 26 pound 3 yr old and the medium is on our 42 in tall and 36 pound 5 yr old. We had a different brand wetsuit last year with short sleeves that were the same material as a rash guard and I was worried the full sleeve would limit their movement in the water. But it does not! Height wise they both do not have a ton of room to grow through the torso (neck to crotch) but both have plenty of room width wise. ... show more

Ordered toddler small for my 2.4 year old who wear a size 3t and child’s large for my just four year old who wears a size 6. Both my kids are big for their age 90th percentile tall and healthy. The fit is perfect they have stretch and just a little room I hope they last a year of growth.
