VIVOHOME Polycarbonate Window Door Awning Spliced Canopy Transparent with Black Bracket 38 Inch x 78 Inch

VIVOHOME’s awning is made of a durable polycarbonate panel and aluminum bars and mounts that are secure and functional, with a sleek and modern appearance, which makes it appropriate for windows, doorways, patios, and decks to protect from rain, sun, snow, and harmful UV rays. How to mount by wall type? • Concrete/hard walls: Use Ø10mm metal expansion bolts (pre-drill required). • Wood walls: Use Ø10mm wood screws (no anchors needed). • Soft walls: Use Ø10mm screws + Ø13.5mm plastic anchors (pre-drill required). Can it handle heavy snow? Each panel has a 30 lbs load capacity and is designed for light to moderate snow and rain. In heavy wet snow, remove snow buildup promptly to avoid damage. For stability, users may also tighten screws if needed. How do I deal with water accumulation inside the panel? You can resolve it by following these steps: • Remove edge screws and take out panel. • Drain water and dry with blower or hair dryer. • Reinstall and tighten screws. • Apply silicone sealant on edges to prevent leaks. Maintenance and cleaning tips Minimal maintenance is required. Periodically inspect and tighten all fittings, especially after storms. Clean panels with mild soap and water using a soft cloth, and avoid abrasive cleaners. Keep snow load under 165 lbs to avoid damage. Is this awning resistant to UV rays? Yes, this awning is built with premium polycarbonate panels. They effectively block UV rays to prevent surface fading, while still letting gentle natural light pass through smoothly.
