First the important things to note. This item does not ship via Amazon or any of the usual parcel services like USPS, UPS, FedEx, or DHL. They ship via a third party freight company, who will call you to schedule a delivery date. The item requires signature on delivery, and the delivery window is limited to weekdays and only within a 5 hour window during working hours, so you are required to make yourself available, and it can come anytime during the time slot. That part was annoying. Also the freight company will leave the pallet unless you get a really nice driver like I did who was ok with taking it back after we removed the boxes from the pallet. Once we got the boxes inside, putting the curio together was super easy. It comes with everything you need, even a wrench to adjust the feet height if needed, and everything slots together really smoothly. The only thing that was an issue was that some of the pegs that hold up the shelves were originally installed upside-down, and reorienting them is a bit of a hassle if you don't catch it until after assembly is complete like we did. If you do it while everything is still taken apart, it will be much easier. I really love how adjustable all the shelf heights are, and that you can opt to put one of the shelves in the bottom cabinet if you prefer to have more space in the display part of the curio. One other issue we run into is the glass door has to be kind of lifted when opening and closing it, it seems to not be oriented quite right. It would also be nice if the light switch wasn't on the inside of the cabinet, so you didn't have to unlock and open it every time in order to turn the switch on and off. We're thinking of getting a smart plug to mitigate this issue. Overall a good purchase, but a few inconveniences are what keeps this from being perfect and getting 5-stars. ... show more
