Update: 10/28/2021- These have died, replaced the bulb with another 35w same brand and nothing. Tried it on the other side ballistic and it worked. Switched ballistics around and right side works on left but not the other way. This means ballistic is DEAD already! Less than one month of usage. I would NOT recommended these. Such as shame, forget these 4+ star reviews look at the 1-2 star looks to be an issue with these lights. __________________________________________ Two days in so far these seem to work OK. I would recommend them for price, but the color is much bluer than 6k for two other brands I have had on other vehicles. Because of this the light output is not as bright as the day breaker halogens it’s replacing in proper projectors. But because they are so cheap you can purchase the kit and a replacement set from them of their 5K blubs, as these 6K are closer to 7-8K color. Longevity is something I cannot attest to as I haven’t had these but for 3 days and used for 2 days. Pros: The look is clean in the projectors. Nice fit on H1 socket. Comes with ballistic and bulbs for a plug and play solution. Price is under 40 dollars! Mounting hardware provided, and bulbs wrapped in plastic case for shipping. Cons: The light output is very blue, not a white blue as 6K is. The bulb is a little longer than other bulbs (H1). ... show more

I bought these lights over a year ago. One set of 9005 and one set of 9006, I got the dark blue version. They all in all were a decent light for the price. I plugged them in expecting something comparable to the ones I had in my other truck. The color wasn't the same but they were supposedly the same bulbs according to everything I read on. They worked though for the time. Here I am now writing this and the lights are still bright, when they work. They are not and I repeat NOT WEATHER PROOF. Every connection is corroded and charred like water gets in them and they arc between terminals. They have poor connections to the ballasts. I've had to jimmy the wires every day for the past six months on one of the bulbs, different one every time so it's not just one bad set-up, just to get it to kick on before driving. I've tried everything from changing the ballasts, changing the wiring, and changing the bulb itself. Nothing fixes this problem. I'm now well past the warranty interval so no need to call customer support just to get turned around and forced to buy a new set. They are good if you plan on changing to something else later on but can't afford it right now but I personally would not recommend these long term. ... show more

Great light for the price. The kit was super easy to install and looks great. I really hope they last me like the previous ones (which lasted 4 and a half years). Lights look very blue in pictures but in person it looks clean and bright! Love it. I got the 10,000k version

I have these on two of my cars. One of the sets have been on for almost three years now and still going strong. Easy install, just like changing out normal headlights. Definitely a improvement from the old traditional halogen bulbs.

I have gone through 2 sets now. First light burnt out in 1 month. Bought another set of these. Replaced that burnt bulb, then the other side went out within that same week. So then I was using both of my new bulbs. Now today I have 2 headlamps not working. Thinking something in the wiring went bad. Nope,, pulled out two burnt headlamps and am looking for something that actually works now. These suck, don't waste your money ... show more

Great price but the quality is terrible. The bulbs did not have a protection foam or cover around them. The wires are too small. The ballest looked like they were used. Install was easy. I have only had these for 2 days now and driver side doesn't work already. Checked connections and wires all are good. Dont know what else to do. Bad luck i guess. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I had these installed for 2 days and initially they worked fine for the first couple hours and then what would happen is then they would flicker from time to time. Sometimes I had to turn the light switch on 2 or 3 times to get them to turn on. The passenger side one went out this morning and now the driver side is out as well.
