The trays were not smooth enough to pull out and if it's full of acrylic powder I'm pretty sure it would spill all over if you tried to reuse the powder that already in it. Didn't even try it, sent it back. Update: From 🌟star to 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 The seller contacted me and let me know that it was designed so the the trays don't fall out when you're not using it, which kinda make sense. Funny little bit of plastic, but it totally works for creating french tipped nails, and regular full nail design, and saves powder. Allows the powder to be recycled. I do my own nails, so I keep the "used" powder in a separate container, which keeps all my unused powder containers clean.

I used to wast a lot of my dip powder until I bought this product it works great. Just don't use glitter dip powder it will stick like most glitter does.

I use this for my clear powder and it works great! Make sure you are holding the front when you try to pull out the bottom scoop though. The whole thing will come off if you pull too hard. (It is meant to open for cleaning purposes. It just isn’t ideal for when you’re actively using the scoops.)
