this feels like a big upgrade from the hair removal device i had been using. the quality feels better right away, and the whole device has a nicer, more polished appearance. it feels solid in hand, not cheap or flimsy, and the wider treatment window makes it much less annoying to use. i really like the cooling feature and the different intensity levels, because it makes the process feel more comfortable and easier to control. for the price, it feels like a better value than buying a weaker device that takes forever or feels questionable. i can’t speak to long-term durability yet, but so far it seems well made and much nicer than my previous one. laser hair removal takes consistency, so i’m not expecting instant magic, but i’m hopeful this one works amazing with regular use.

I’ve been using the Diode Laser Hair Removal Device at home for a couple times, and it’s become a new staple in my grooming routine. The device feels solid and well‑made in the hand, with a comfortable grip and a wide treatment window that makes covering larger areas like legs and arms much faster than smaller IPL devices I’ve tried before. Because it uses 810 nm diode laser technology — the same wavelength used in many professional clinics — it feels more targeted and consistent with each pass, and there’s no fumbling around with flash buttons or bulky attachments. One of the features I really appreciate is the skin tone compatibility (1‑5) — it’s reassuring to know it’s designed for a broad range of light to medium skin tones, and I’ve had no sensitivity issues when used as directed. The pulses are quick and surprisingly comfortable; you feel warmth rather than sharp pain, so I can get through a session without dreading it. I ordered this DermRays 810nm Diode Laser Technology Hair Removal Device, Permanent Reduction in Hair Regrowth for Skin Tone 1-5, & the quality is fantastic! It includes a razor, power cord, power adapter, & a drawstring storage bag, and comes very nicely, presented, making it a great gift option. It’s lightweight, fits great in my hand, comfortable to hold, & incredibly easy to use. It has 6 adjustable energy levels, I didn’t experience any discomfort, or irritation at all. The treatment is best on clean, shaved skin, and the frequency is 3x a week for the first 2 weeks, then reduce to using it twice a week for 2-3 weeks, then maintain usage once a month. Depending on the thickness of the hair, it can be used more frequently at higher power levels. I’ve never tried a hair removal device before, and I’ve never had any type of professional hair removal treatments before. I have a single, hair that’s very noticeable because it’s very dark, thick, & grows out very long, & my husband always yanks it out when it grows back long enough for him to grab. Because this was a new experience for me, I was initially nervous, & decided to start off with a small area to target that hair on my chin. After week one, I got use to it, and felt comfortable enough to start targeting my legs, & underarms. It doesn’t work overnight, it takes time, & requires prolonged use for noticeable results. I noticed that by targeting that hair on my chin, which seems to be growing out slower, I don’t have any peach fuzz hair on my chin anymore, which gives me confidence in the effectiveness with continued consistent use. The device has to come in contact with skin, I started out with the lowest setting, & it was a very subtle warmth, & as I worked my way up on the levels, the warmth became more apparent, but didn’t burn, or hurt, it was just more noticeable, and mild tingling sensation on the higher levels, but not very often, & not bothersome. Overall, it performs really well, & I couldn’t be more pleased! At the time of this review, it’s priced at $499, & it’s my opinion that it reasonably priced. I highly recommend.

This product flashes the laser once about every second (when it is against your skin). It goes for 6 flashes and then pauses for a few seconds. This makes the laser very frustrating to use because you have to count the stings from the energy snaps and then stop moving the device or a gap will be left in the coverage (the flashes are barely visible when the laser head is against the skin). On the high level, the sting from the flashes can be on the verge of unbearable when doing large areas like the legs. I have only used on my legs one time, so I don’t have any useful information about its effectiveness yet.

Does it work: maybe Is it painless: he!! no With all laser hair removal there will be some pain, but 4x a week and over an hour for each session this is a waster of time. This should be designed like the electric palm held shaver with multiple heads and a flip out tip for tight areas. The safety sensor makes this product almost impossible to hit all the area that are hard to shave I.e. knees, ankles, wrists, toes.

I ordered this diode laser device because I had already tried an IPL device in the past and did not get the kind of long-term results I was hoping for. It felt like I was putting in the time but not really seeing much payoff. I had also done a few professional laser sessions before, and while those worked better, the cost made it unrealistic for me to keep going, especially for full-body treatments. That is what made me curious about trying a diode laser at home. So far, this has been a completely different experience compared to IPL. The biggest thing I noticed is that I am actually getting that shedding phase after treatments, which is something I only ever saw with professional laser. That alone made me feel like it is actually doing something deeper at the follicle level. With IPL, I never saw that happen, no matter how consistent I was. I have been using this for under a month and I am already seeing less hair growing back, especially on my legs. The regrowth is slower and more sparse, and I am not having to shave as often. For me, that is a huge improvement this early on. I also like that I can adjust the intensity levels depending on the area. I started lower just to be safe and worked my way up without any issues. Another thing I appreciate is how quick it is to use. I can do both of my legs in about 10 minutes, which makes it easy to stay consistent. The wide treatment window and auto mode help speed things up a lot, so it does not feel like a chore to keep up with. It is also almost completely painless for me. I occasionally feel a little warmth, but nothing uncomfortable or distracting. My overall take is that this has been a really worthwhile upgrade from IPL. It feels much closer to the results I saw with professional treatments, but in a way that is actually manageable to keep up with at home.

I’ll admit it, I’m sick of shaving. So when I saw this Diode Laser Hair Removal device become available to order, I decided to give it a try. First thing I noticed is that the box comes shrink wrapped, ensuring me that no one else has been in the box before me. And because it’s packaged well, it could easily be wrapped for a gift. The device itself is easy to hold and has a comfortable grip. For someone like me who has never used any kind of hair removal device before, the instructions were pretty easy to follow and set up was a breeze. Using this device is rather simple, because I just move the device up and down my legs in row formation and the device automatically fires. I don’t get any stinging or pain (which was one of my fears), I only get a warm feeling instead. Plus a treatment doesn’t take too long for each leg because of the wider area the flash covers. I’ve used this device a handful of times now and I’m starting to notice the hair on my legs growing back thinner and more sparse. This is exciting for me because I cannot wait for the day where I don’t have to worry about shaving my legs anymore. I am really glad I got the chance to order and try this Diode Laser Hair Removal Device. It’s been a positive experience for a newbie like me and I’m grateful for how easy it’s been to operate.

I tested this device on a small shaved area and found it fairly easy to use. You move it across the skin in rows, and it fires consistently as long as it is positioned flat against the surface. I did not have issues with misfires or inconsistent operation. During use, I felt a light tingling sensation that increased with higher intensity settings, but it was not particularly painful. On lower settings, there was very little heat buildup, and I did not experience any significant discomfort. After use, there was slight redness on the skin, but nothing unusual or concerning. At this stage, it appears to function as expected for an at-home hair removal device. I also was not able to find any clear third-party testing or clinical data supporting the effectiveness of this specific device, which makes it harder to evaluate the claims.
