I’m really impressed with this Bluetooth speaker. It’s slim, black, and has a very elegant, modern look . The sound quality is excellent, crisp and clear with surprisingly strong bass for its size. The playback time is amazing i played it for 8+hrs straight and still had more than half battery left. It also has a good weight to it, which makes it feel solid and well-built. I am using this speaker with a Vox headphone amp as a bedroom practice amp with a bass guitar. An inexpensive solution at low and moderate volumes. The amp seems to reproduce the low notes well, whereas other small bluetooth speakers like the JBL Flip 4 can't handle the bass. Would also work as a campfire amp with a couple of acoustic guitars. The bluetooth works well but that's about it. Neither the aux or mic jack works. Sound quality is mediocre. I'm keeping it as a bluetooth speaker but I was really wanting to use the microphone feature EDIT. DinDin contacted me to rectify the situation. I had tossed the box (my fault) and could not return it. They offered and sent me a new speaker at no cost. It works perfectly and sounds better than the first speaker . I did not contact them, nor did I ever ask for any restitution. All of this was initiated by them. It has been the best customer service I have ever experienced on Amazon. Description mentioned a wooden enclosure. I was curious if that would enhance the acoustics. I guess it did, although it made the unit heavy. Unit was attractive, sturdy, nice handle and had a few nice features like a mic port and visual charge amount. I was looking for a speaker that had an input and output to run to a PA system for use during band practice. This fit the bill. We use it to play music via Bluetooth from my phone. I wish I could give it five stars as the sound is good and it looks great, but the only problem is if you pause music for a few minutes the thing powers off and you have to turn it back on and reconnect which is very inconvenient. I wish there was an option to keep it powered on and connected to a device while plugged in or something. Other than that it’s a good speaker. *Update* The seller reached out to me and advised the 15 minute shut off time was a design choice and said they will increase the shutoff period to 30 minutes in a newer version.
