UPDATE 12 Feb 21: Was contacted by the seller and issued a $21 refund to pay for a new cover to replace the one that was cracked in shipping. Great customer service, have increased to 5 stars! This is a great self-contained (includes amp and speakers) phonograph that not only looks nice but sounds great. I picked this model out after watching a couple of reviews on Amazon where they demonstrated it’s sound. I have a very cheap turntable that sounds very tinny and was looking for something that sounded better. Overall very happy with the purchase, one issue was that the clear plastic cover got knocked around in transit and was cracked on the back side near the left hinge. I was hoping that I could just replace the cover, but was only offered to return the whole system and switch it out. Since it was a cosmetic issue and did not impact the function of the player, I decided it would be more difficult to pack up and send back the entire system than just keep it as is. Maybe I can either replace the cover at a future time or try to glue together the crack.

It works very well and is a nice size for our room. The sound is descent, but a little too low for the classic rock I listen to and for my personal taste. I think a speaker upgrade is in my future to help that issue, but there's no rush since it's okay. When it gets to the end of the record it just stops, which isn't bad, but it would have been nice to automate the arm back home to rest. All that said, it's a nice system and I'd recommend it to someone looking for a casual, inexpensive turntable/speakers.
