This is NOT 44 mp. Not even close. I doubt that it is even 2 mp. The image quality produced by this camera is absolutely terrible. It will save big files though. Just don’t bother zooming in. The detail that would come with a real 44 mp sensor isn’t there.

I bought this camera as a gift for my brothers, and it’s really good for the price I paid. The resolution is good, and I really like how it performs. It comes with all the accessories and cables, which is a big plus. The only downsides were that the screen had a small scratch (not very noticeable) and one of the batteries arrived slightly detached. very convenient to bring while I hike to take photos. I got a good resale deal on the camera but took two stars off because the battery inside the camera had glue all over it. I took a chance to yank it out and have been using the other battery. I later found out that the glue-covered battery was not original and had a gray (not black) end. One of the two original batteries was replaced and the replacement looked very different. I don't want to risk using the replacement battery since there was no information given. In other words, I only received one useful battery instead of two. Therefor this deal was definitely not like new. ... show more

There is no lens cap, but the camera does come with a bag that will protect it. All of the buttons are easy to find and understand, it would be a fun camera for kids to use. The camera is able to shoot macro quite well! The writing speed onto the memory card is quick, and the memory card is provided with your purchase. It’s already inside the camera when it arrives.
