This camera is great. It is very light and compact; smaller than a deck of cards. But it produces great pictures. Getting the battery in is a bit tricky because there it a small lever that you must hold out of the way while inserting the battery, but once it is in place that little lever is nice because it holds the battery in place even if the compartment cover pops open. This is definitely not a professional quality camera, but for an armature it is not bad. You can make some basic changes to the settings and really take some awesome shots. I love that is comes with 2 batteries and a carrying case. It does come with a 32GB standard-sized SD card, which is already inserted in the card slot. At only $39.99 this is a great deal, and it is perfect for my daughter to take on her trips Washington DC this spring and Scout Camp this summer. ... show more

I got this camera for my 12 year old to try to make youtube videos. It is pretty easy to use, came with 2 batteries and a carrying bag. I didn't get the SD card though. We made a sample video and the image was good. The sound was super low so we're trying to work on that. Other than that, it's ok for him to play around with without me getting nervous about him messing something up. lol. ... show more

One of the things I liked when I read the product description is that the seller was very clear that this is not a professional quality camera. I appreciate it when sellers are honest and don’t try to present their merchandise as something it’s not. I appreciate it even more when sellers like the one offering this camera for sale explained exactly what the buyer could and could not reasonably expect from it. The camera I received is a very nice, very basic camera. It’s sturdy and well-made, easy to use, and perfect for occasional snapshots. It is exactly what I wanted.
