I picked up these calipers for use with a 3-D printer. I already had one set for use in the garage, so I was looking for another set to keep inside. I have compared the results of different measurements between the two different units (the first one much more expensive than this) and they have returned exactly the same so I assume the accuracy is very good. I wish that it had come with a small case or a storage box. This purchase came with some extra batteries that have to be stored somewhere and not lost before my calipers need a battery change. If there was a storage case, it would be easy enough to slot those in there for later use. Also, some people in the other reviews have complained about inadvertent activation while moving the calipers around that slowly kill the battery, but that has not been my experience. While the calipers may turn on, the auto off function is fairly quick and I haven't had any problems. I recommend this product. Easy to use and accurate.

I'm used to using calibrated gauges from my years in the Navy so this thing was going to be no challenge. It does what it says it does, at least I think it does I don't have any calibration standards to check it against. However it looks pretty good and is super simple to use. Much easier than using dial veneers. Makes measuring thickness of wood, diameter of pipes, cabling, anything a snap. Also it converts from metric to standard so it does all the thinking for you!

First off you buy this to get cheap measurements. You’re not gonna bring the space shuttle to the moon with this. The biggest negative is that any movement wakes up the display. But for me using this for rough 3D print mock-ups this is great and somewhat exact compared to a non digital. All metal would’ve been nice but this beats the plastic regular one.

The media could not be loaded. They're made of plastic, but it did the job I bought it for, which was making sure my sights were centered on my Glock. If you need calipers to constantly use, I'd invest some more money. You can't expect much for the price. If you need to use them once like me, they'll work. It's nice they include two extra batteries on top of the batteries already installed.

The media could not be loaded. The Calipers worked great for the first year, only used a few times. Now the calipers will not zero out or turn off, but just rolls the numbers. video attached to see it in action. Had to pull battery out to turn off. Even though it worked great, I cannot recommend this one
