This digital camera is very nice the title says kids camera but for real anyone can use it, I bought this one to have a spare camera in my purse, since is very slim. It’s a great one has HD 1080P image resolution and 48MP video resolution, and a built-in microphone, supports 16x digital zoom, really nice clear pictures and can also be use as a webcam pretty easy just connect the camera to the computer with the included USB cable, and press the power button and the MODE button at the same time to switch to the webcam mode. I really wanted to like this product it was a good price point for what I was looking for. The camera was easy to use and set up but once it was being used it worked for about half an hour and now we cannot get it to turn back on or retrieve any of the pictures that were taken. This is now my 4th kids camera. We'll see how long this one lasts. First I'd like to say I got a card to write a 5 star review saying they'd pay me 50 dollars. Do I think this is worth 5 stars, absolutely not. Is it good for kids, yes, sort of. Let's start with image quality, it's decent, if you can hold the camera still. Any sort of movement causes it all to blur. The shutter button takes about 1.5 seconds to actually take the picture. The zoom is absolutely useless as it gets grainy very quickly, even with the supposed optical zoom. Video quality is surprisingly pretty decent although sound is a little muffled. Let's talk about the navigation/menu system. It's atrocious. The buttons are shiny chrome with just imprints of some sort of image and they're almost impossible to see what is on them. So, till you learn what the buttons do you are completely lost in how to navigate this device. Honestly, this is by far the biggest downfall. Build quality is decent and seems pretty durable. Only time will tell. It did come with 2 batteries and a strap which I liked. I attached 2 pictures, one that I took of a keyboard and I was holding it steady. Another that my 7 year old daughter took of a pot and you can see it's blurry because kids aren't very good at not shaking their hands when taking pictures. My point of this review is that I would NOT believe all the raving 5 star reviews. Is it a pretty good kids camera, yes, honestly one of the better ones but it is far from 5 stars. ... show more

I got two if these cameras for my step daughters (10 and 7). The camera is better than I expected for the price point. There's lots of settings to try, it looks like a standard point and shoot (we like the asthetic of the "lens" on the front). The girls have a blasting using the smile sensing mode. However, if you buy this, make sure to get a different SD card. I bought two cameras and BOTH of the SD cards just completely stopped working on the second day both at the same time. Completely fried. No computer or any other device will detect it when plugged in. Get some different SD cards to use, and then you'll have a good time with the camera. ... show more
