The media could not be loaded. I like this eye-catching small fireplace themed diffuser more than I expected to. It's constructed of ABS & PP thermoplastic material, which I thought would mean it would have the look and feel of inexpensive plastic, but it does not. Yes, if you are touching it , you can tell that it is plastic (the clear window is also a thin sheet of plastic, not glass) but you cannot visually tell that this machine not actually wood and glass. It is simple to operate. It has a dedicated power cord, and cannot be used with an interchangeable USB electric plug, so don't misplace the cord. It can be operated either with the small remote (2 AAA batteries, not provided), or with the controls on the front of the unit. There are timer options for 1hour, 3 hour, or 5 hours of operation. It also shuts off automatically when the water supply is depleted. The description says that it should run six to eight hours if left on continuous. I let it run without a timer, and at six hours it was still running and still had water in its well. Besides the power control and timer control, you'll find a light mode button and another button described in separate places as a "reset button" or as a "fog light switch" . I was unable to figure out what exactly that button does. The mist is present no matter how much I push that button. In the instruction manual, it indicates that the "light mode button", with each quick press , will cycle through the different lighting modes and colors, and lists them all. It talks about "marquee", "colorful" , "aurora colorful" and "rainbow gradient" modes. I'm sorry, but I could not make sense of the description given to get to any particular mode. Also, the print in that manual is the absolute tiniest I have ever seen and is incredibly difficult to read. They should have put a list of the color modes online if they wanted them able to be easily read. Honestly, when slowly going through the button presses, I could see the flames change color and directions, but was unable to match it up to the list in the manual. The modes are all very colorful and pretty. Just press the button till you find ones you like, they are all very attractive. I like how it looks, and is an attractive addition to my sunroom especially at night. This diffuser does look just like a small lighted fireplace, the design is authentic. It creates a warm comforting feel in the room. It exudes a good amount of aroma with just 6-8 drops of scented oil in the water well. I'm sure that it because it is sending water into the air it has humidifying properties, but am not sure how effective it may be, given the small amount of water that it holds. This cute machine would also be functional as a night light. I am satisfied that it looks and performs as advertised, and am rating it with five stars.

The media could not be loaded. Update: There has been a constant build up of moisture all the way around the lid and it makes it seem like the lid is glued on all of a sudden. Its been real difficult to get the lid off to check the fluid so I've been having to keep the lid cockeyed just so I can get the lid off to refill water. No, I have not been exceeding the water level limit. I still like this device though. ------------ I really like this little thing! Its fun and looks really cool. They advertise it for aromatherapy but unfortunately I do not own any sort of essential oils. But that's okay, you don't need oils to enjoy this device. You just put water in it and the lighting give it a super cool effect to look like smoke as if it were a real fireplace. Build quality is nice, and the effects are definitely nice. I don't care much that the outside of it is plastic made to look like fake wood that some people are mentioning they don't like. ***It shows you how high to stop filling the water for the mist function. If theres no water inside, the "power button" on the remote & the first button on the device (three squiggles symbol) will turn the device on, but then the device will turn itself back off bc theres no water in it to run the mist function. Took me a bit to realize thats what was happening.*** The device will run vapor mode until the water is practically gone. Filling the water to the max fill line, testing showed it lasted around 11-12 hours total. If you don't want to fill the device with water to use it for the mist/vapor feature, you can have it only put on the light show. The buttons to use for that function are the symbol of a sun on both remote and middle button on the device. The main negativity: Between the descriptions in the directions and the reuse of symbols for different functions, I got confused on what does what. Here's what I figured out, I did my best to make it understandable: ---------- Power button symbol on the REMOTE & first button on the DEVICE (three squiggles symbol): Turns the entire device (lights and mist) on and off. ---------- Three squiggles symbol button on the REMOTE: If you already have the device on any other setting ie. different color mode sequences with mist on or not, this button puts the device back to the initial warm color theme with mist/vapor on. --------- Sun symbol on REMOTE & middle button on DEVICE (sun symbol): Both control only the lights of the device on and off, no mist. Timer button on both the REMOTE and DEVICE work the same: 1 hour/ 3 hour/ 5 hour ------------ At the time of this review, $35 seems fairly reasonable. Only reason Im removing a star is because the symbols and functions from the remote to the device should all match. The directions are really small and really confusing by calling two buttons with different symbols "Switch". But then calling buttons with the same symbols by different names. Just small tweaks would have corrected this. Also, the remote mine came with works when it wants to regardless of having brand new batteries in. Either way, I still enjoy the product.

I selected this diffuser because I wanted something compact with adjustable lighting, and this one fits my space perfectly. Out of the box, it feels lightweight but not flimsy, and the faux‑fireplace design is surprisingly charming on a desk or shelf. The mist output is moderate — not overpowering, but enough to lightly scent a small room. It has been consistent during use, and the unit hasn’t sputtered or leaked. For the price, the performance feels appropriate. One of my favorite features is the ability to choose different light colors. The “fireplace” effect is more of a cozy ambiance than a realistic flame, but it adds a nice visual element. The color options cycle smoothly, and it’s easy to set a single color if you prefer. I keep this in a small corner of my living area, and it fits without taking up much space. It runs quietly, and my cats mostly ignore it — they’re curious about everything, but they haven’t tried to knock it over or bother it. The built‑in timers (1H, 3H, 5H, or continuous) work as expected, and the auto shut‑off gives some peace of mind. The 120ml tank is enough for shorter sessions, and it’s easy to refill and clean.
