We bought this bed for our daughter's small room. She is 6 and it is tall, but she didn't mind. Some small kids might not like the height. While we were building the bed, we were missing a piece and the seller responded quickly and got the pieces shipped to us swiftly. It's pretty easy to put together and the lights are great. It feels pretty sturdy, but we did secure it to the wall since its for younger kids. Even though it's metal it feels smoothed on the edges enough to be safe. This is a great bed for small rooms. I do with the steps were a little wider but it's not a deal breaker.

This frame was the right style to solve the space problem we had. It raises the bed up high enough to have lots of room below and the frame is thin enough to not be in the way of things going on below. The thinness of the frame does allow it to be a little rickety. The bars for the ladder are thin enough that I found it terribly uncomfortable to climb as an adult, but my son has an okay time with it. He has slipped a time or two because of having a little trouble finding the rungs sometimes. The bunk is a bit close to our 8 ft ceiling but not so much that he has trouble getting in and out of bed. I would have rated this 3 stars but it does such a great job of solving our space problem that I value it a little higher.

This bed far surpasses our expectations. Our daughter room is incredibly small and this was perfect for adding the extra space and is exactly as described in the listing! The color is perfect, and is definitely the best money we’ve spent on a piece of furniture for a child’s room! She can grow with this bed too! It took my husband and I about 2 hours to put it together and the directions and pieces were labeled well and easy to follow! 10/10

The frame is not sturdy and wobbles when you try and turn over, squeaks, and feels cheap. I have a 15 year old girl that refused to sleep in it because she felt unsafe. I thought she was being dramatic, so I went up myself and immediately requested a refund and broke the beds down to return. Do not purchase this!

My daughter had one similar in the past and it was so unstable that I refused to make her bed and it swayed every time she turned in her sleep (she was about 40LBs at the time). This bed however is very well built and sturdy and she’s a teenager now so she weighs a lot more. It hardly moved when she was climbing up the stairs. I anchored it to the wall as a precaution but I don’t think it needed to be. I’m really impressed.
