I got this for my 7 years old son, the bed arrived really fast. When I ordered it, I didn't expect much for the price, I was 60% ready for disappointment and return. I got the box today, it was scratched and slightly damaged because of shipping, but the inside was properly wrapped so no damage to the interior product. Putting it together was easy, it comes with the Allen wrench and all pieces were there. The holes all aligned perfectly and the bed ended up being a hit. The way it's put together makes it really sturdy and probably will hold up for a while before I need to worry about another bed. For the price, this is an unbeatable bed

I really liked the look of this bed, but a lot of the reviews complained about it being crazy low to the ground, and that the wooden frame was crap. I decided to take a chance with some improvising. I purchased a $50 metal frame (which was wonderfully easy to put together!) and then I put this bed frame together on top of it, which was basically everything but the wooden slats and legs. It barely fits, but it fits and is working wonderfully! The metal frame is a 14" frame, so it added some height as well as stability. The wave sides of the bed come in two pieces, which are (originally) connected by a bed leg. I put the metal piece for the leg in place, and later used that piece to bolt the bedframe onto the metal frame (as pictured). To do that, I simply drilled a hole into the metal frame where that piece sat. I thought it might be a little hard to drill through the metal, but it was no harder than drilling through wood! Since the two wave pieces are connected (in the original frame design) by a bed leg that I wasn't going to use, I had to improvise a new way to connect those pieces. To do that, I simply took one of the wooden slats from the wooden frame, drilled holes in it to match the holes in the side pieces, and then bolted the slat to both sides, thus connecting them. The only problem I had doing that, was one of my side pieces did not have metal screw inserts, (which I'm assuming was a defect or flaw). When I put the screw through the slat and into the hole, the short screws were too short and the long screws were too long! The only headache was finding the solution, but the solution itself was easy. I didn't want to order screws and wait a week, and I couldn't find any at the store. Fortunately, I have a large pair of bolt cutters, so I cut a couple of the long bolts to size and filed the ends flat with my Dremel tool until a nut would screw onto it. It sounds horrific, but I'm a fifty year old woman and it only took me a few minutes to do. Another problem was that the end of the bed frame hangs off the metal frame. There are two holes at the end of the bed that I assume are for bed legs that support the end of the bed, however, I put it in a 14" metal frame to add height... So, I took a couple thicker pieces of the wooden frame, cut them to size, drilled holes to match and made new bed legs. They're kinda ugly, but I plan to go back later and paint them black to match the metal frame. Other issues I encountered... 1) the LED light strip kept falling off. (The adhesive apparently isn't very adhering 🫤). So I used thumb tacks. I didn't want to take a chance that putting a tack THROUGH the light strip was going to make them not work, so I tacked NEXT to the strip and let the head of the track hold the stop in place. (Just those cheap silver tacks from dollar tree). It hasn't fallen off since! 2) I only ordered an 8" mattress. It does not come above the highest side of the wave, and it hurts the back of my legs to go over it. Currently I get off the end of the bed, but I plan to either get a mattress topper or box spring to remedy that. (As soon as I can afford to) And the other issue with the 8" mattress is that my pillows fall through the gap since it doesn't meet the headboard. Yes, it's all the way down. If box springs or a topper don't remedy that, I'll look for a wedge gap filler cushion. All in all, an extra $50 and some improvising, and I feel pretty good about it all. Fortunately, I had all the tools I needed: a drill, a saw, a Dremel and some bolt cutters. Took a little extra time, but I think the time was well invested! I can easily move the entire bed to clean the floo and the frame hasn't come apart or fallen off! I'm quite pleased!

I didn't like anything about this bed. Came with no lights no wave looking nothing. But and to top it off I tried to send it back and you have to pay for the shipping that sucks. I will never buy from them again

So this product is fine for me but I only weigh 125. You may want to reinforce the mattress with something else. Sometimes when I put my hand on a single point and put my weight on it I hear cracking.
