This is an LED strip light that produces a continuous line of light. It was placed in a square plastic tubing to make the LED strip portion of it waterproof and then ends were sealed with a clear silicone or something. It comes with a female barrel jack so all you have to do is wire it on correctly and buy a 24V wall adapter. I like the continuous LED strips over the discreet LEDs because are less harsh when you look at them. If you want it to truly be waterproof, you will need to do something waterproof with the bare wires they leave you for the rest of the installation. The cover is great though for indoor applications so the surface can be washed and you don't have to worry about people touching them. I initially tested mine up with a 24V 1.5A 36W wall adapter and it worked fine. Box incorrectly indicates 45W/m but ad here correctly indicates 45W (which is 2A) total for the entire 16.5ft. You will likely not be able to use the entire length in one application and will want multiple smaller adapters and to to be able to solder your own wires on the end to get the proper value out of this length of LED. Lights themselves work great. Installation requires a small amount of electrical skill as there are no directions.

This is good quality COB strip and has wires at one end but the other so no way to connect it to another LED strip. It comes with just a few clips and should have come with more for a 16 foot strip. It does come with a connector so you can plug it in using a separate power adapter. The adhesive seems okay but I may have ot use more clips to keep it in place.

This strip is advertised as waterproof, IP67. It is encased in a rectangular silicone tube, which is typical for that level of water protection. They just provide wires coming out the end, and the endcap has been siliconed shut. Making the connection to the controller or power supply waterproof is up to you. The color temperature of this strip (4000K) is a nice compromise between incandescent sources (2700K~3000K) and daylight (typically 4500K~6500K). Slightly colder than incandescent, but not harshly so and without the tell-tale blue cast of some daylight lamps. This makes excellent task light, and this strip puts out a lot of it. Colors look accurate under this light thanks to the CRI of 92Ra. The adhesive on the back is 3M "300LSE" so there should be no issues getting it to stick to most surfaces. If you need to cut the strip, you will have to get end caps and make sure they are sealed properly to provide moisture protection for the environment where you're installing. None are included. The kit includes a dozen or so screw-in hold-down brackets, which is unlikely to be sufficient for the entire length so you will have to get more or use your own solution, assuming you're not using the adhesive backing. It also contains a barrel-to-screw-contacts adapter which you should most definitely not use outside, and is probably best relegated to the garbage bin.

Ordered this LLTOP Waterproof COB LED Strip Lights DC24v Natural White 4000K to go into a kitchen being used with a triac dimming power supply and controlled from a standard light switch. This strip is bright and in the 4000k color tone with 92 CRI which makes it a great choice for kitchen lighting, either over the cabinet or under cabinet lighting. I like the consistent light that is thrown by a COB led vs the older individual strip lights. When you use just a single color you dont have as many LED's to fail on the strip and all the power goes to the one color. I have not yet tested the triac dimmer to validate the range of dimming. The product says it will dim using an LED controller but I want to use a power supply that is compatible with a line voltage dimmer. For home use all those dang controllers get out of hand. Strip light worked for me, no dark spots. 10 MM strip with just a hot and neutral feed. Be sure and get the correct kit in order to make the right connections.

I put these up in my bathroom for better lighting, and they work great. I used a 24v 2a power supply and it seems to be enough. They seem to be adhering to my wall pretty good, and it’s only really coming off in the corners, which is where it usually unsticks with all LED strips.

...with little or no discrete light points. Be aware that they are 10 mm wide (many LED strips are 8 mm) especially if you intend to mount them in aluminum channel. The package includes a power connector with screw terminals making it a trivial matter to connect to a power supply (you provide). Also be aware that it's 24V. The box claims an absurd 45 Watts / meter, it's actually 45 W total (or 9W/M). Actual measured current draw works out to about 36 W total, so 45 W provides a comfortable margin, and you don't need more than a 45 W power supply. The package also includes 6 clear plastic clips and screws to attach the strip to a surface, though there is 3M adhesive already attached to the back of the strips.

I will use this to replace an old LED strip that I’m using accent the eaves above my garage. LED strip is 4000 K which is a nice white. It comes with bear wires, red and black that are positive and negative it has an adapter, but no power supply also comes with some screw clips. The backing comes with double stick 3M adhesive tape the thickness of the waterproof covering is about 5 mm x 10 mm. It uses 24 V AC/DC adapter. The one I used on the picture has an output 1.5 A. Should work really good for my purpose
