I bought these for work and they are so tight at the waist I can't wear them comfortably. They run incredibly small. I usually wear a size 10 comfortably, but these 10s I have to wrestle into them to get them over my hips and then, if I'm lucky enough to be able to get the waist closed, I have red indentations on my skin immediately and can't bend over. If I hadn't removed the tags already, I'd return them to get a 12 or even a 14.... otherwise, I really like them.

Full disclosure: these pants were the ones specifically required by my employer, so I didn't have the option to shop around for black pants. However, I have long been a fan of Dickies products so I likely would have at least considered these. I followed the sizing chart and ordered what I was told would be my size, but they were a tad bit too big. Not a huge deal, that's what belts are for. I don't like how low they sit, just barey at my hips. As a bigger woman, I prefer the pants that sit well above my hips. I LOVE the pocket space. Many women's pants don't have pockets at all, so I'm always thrilled to find pockets in women's pants. They are super sturdy, which leads to believe they will survive for a long time.

I had hopes for these, but alas they will not work. The quality of the material and workmanship is great and I love that they offer different lengths. Would have great for me to work. But, the actual waist band is way out of whack with the rest of the pant. Other reviews have mentioned this, but you never know until you try them yourself. Also, the rise is quite different between the regular and tall, incase anyone finds that to be an issue. I found the rise (where they hit at the waist) to be good for me on the Tall, but too low on the regular. Which again is nice, because they're accounting for the different heights. But not sure who is responsible for the waist band? it's way too big and gaps badly in the back. I'm not even sure having them tailored would work because of how they are constructed, so I'm not going to invest the additional $ to try.

For the current, half-off price of $15 a pair, I would say if you're in my situation where you really WORK and need some work pants, these fit the bill. Ironically though, they probably won't fit to your waist size, as many have noticed. I thought I would be fine ordering in my normal size, having lost weight and my normal pants've been hanging more and more off my waist, but nope, these are JUST TIGHT enough in my normal size to be uncomfortable. I want to order a bunch at this price to keep my jeans from getting messed up, and I plan to order the same size, but that's because I'm losing enough weight to not make them stay this tight forever--hopefully. Order a size or two up, trust me. But at $15? Grab while you can.

I purchased the 12tall since regulars are too short in the legs. I did have to turn up the pantlegs at the cuff wearing tennis shoes and flats but in heels they're perfect!. The rise is quite comfortable and look fabulous on. Maybe a hipster type rise...not quite hip huggers and definitely not mom pants. The legs are somewhat relaxed and I need to move constantly in a fast pace environment at work and these provide extra room without looking baggie. The fabric is heavy but not hard feeling or hot wearing. The waist has these awesome 1.25 inch wide belt loops and 7 loops on the waistband ! Excellent, no more pulling up the pants all the time when I get busy they stay in place well. Wish I'd known about these years ago.

I like the material, however I do not like the fit below the belly button. I wear? Size 10 which is what I ordered little big at waist but I wear leggings under and layers on top since I work out doors wear top layers tucked in and still comfortable.
