Overall decent. It can pop open if something drags across it and snags the "buckle" area. I wonder if the hole will wear out and weaken the attachment over time. It's also rubber coated solid leather, which you may want and is sturdy, but I wanted pure 100% leather with only a thin typical leather finish, which this is not. Excellent belt that has no metal on the outside, instead of wrapping the belt on the outside like a typical belt buckle, it loops into the inside loop of the belt, that way there is no end flap. I am now onto my second "Dickies No Scratch Leather Mechanics Belt." The second one being a different color (black). My first one (brown) is still holding up well after about 2 years worth of use. Easy to fasten and true to their mission, I can wear it when detailing my cars and have zero fear of my belt buckle damaging the finish. And, oddly this is the only belt I have ever owned in which I received compliments! Now, I'm thinking I will buy a few for sticking stuffers at Christmas!
