I've been using this for awhile now and it does seem to be helping. I've noticed less shedding when I shampoo and less fall out when brushing or combing. Hair is definitely softer and healthier than it has been in quite some time. It also appears to be thicker. Make sure to follow the instructions and give it some time, I'd say 4-6 months, to see any real results. (A small amount of product is all you need for each use) Let's face it, your hair didn't thin overnight, so it's not going to start getting thicker overnight. Of course, their many reasons for thinning hair. This product is only going to help if DHT is the problem. Even if it doesn't help thicken and slow or stop your hair loss, the hair you have will be in better condition and healthier than it was before you tried it. I just used this shampoo & conditioner for the 1st time today. I have coarse, curly, color treated hair that's always been very thick except for some problem thinning areas around the hairline & crown. First the scent: I find it to be a very light fragrance, not bothersome at all. Sudsing: LOTS of suds! A little of this shampoo goes a long way! Which brings us to value: IMO, this shampoo/conditioner is no more expensive for the size than any salon product and less expensive than most. But none of this matters if your hair doesn't look good. I'm very happy with how soft & shiny my hair is. Also, drying & styling was very easy. Being really thick in the back, it takes forever to dry & straighten my hair and I usually wind up with some frizziness. But not today - my hair is soft & silky and there's no frizz. Hopefully it's going to work for my massive shedding and even help with regrowth. ... show more

The shampoo doesn’t lather as well need to use a lot but the conditioner is amazing. My hair looks beautiful and shiny afterwards haven’t noticed thickness in my hair yet, but I haven’t been using them that long. The scent is so refreshing love it.

I've been using this for about a month and have been very happy with it. Both the shampoo and conditioner are very sheer or light but effective and get the job done! Don't need much of either. I love how lightweight it feels on my hair and also hasn't demolished my temp hair coloring because its sulfate free. My hair has been shinier and softer lately than it has been in a while. I will tell you - I am 3 months post-op on bariatric surgery... this is the point where there is a great risk of major hair loss following the diet change. After using this set for a month, I am finding that less hair than ever before is coming out during showers, so I am very impressed when I was so worried about the complete opposite happening due to the surgery! I expect that once my body self-regulates a bit more this shampoo/conditioner might even be more effective which is a nice thought. Kind of a weird endorsement I know, but thought this was worth mentioning given the timing for me personally. ... show more

I really like the smell and how soft my hair feels after. It has good lather and leaves my hair with really good volume once I style it. I began taking it to reduce and prevent hair loss from taking GLP-1. I had been using Soapbox for months, but wasn't liking the lack of lather and hair texture once styling. While on Soapbox I began seeing some hair growth, but I decided to make a switch to this DHT Blocker shampoo. BUT I'm sad to say that after about 2-3 weeks I started to notice hair loss all over again and it seems to be worse than before.     • Not a DHT Blocker as Advertised

Their Amazon presence leans heavily into the DHT blocker component to attract men and women who are losing their hair. Most people who are losing their hair are losing it because they have androgenetic alopecia. If they have done ANY research to determine WHY, they know that the male androgen dihydrotestosterone (DHT) is responsible for their hair loss, and that's why people buy this product. However, when you get the product, the labels do NOT indicate that the shampoo and conditioner are DHT BLOCKERS. Instead, each bottle's label states that it is a DHT Shampoo and a DHT conditioner, prompting people to think that DHT is a GOOD thing. Do they think we are too stupid to realize the connection between DHT and hair loss? The all important word BLOCKER is missing after the word DHT. DHT is the hormone that causes hair loss in both men and women. When you look at the ingredients, they list all these eco-groovy herbals ingredients that have very little connection with preventing hair loss. There is no mention of hair loss, hair thinning or hair growth on the actual bottles you get from Amazon, despite their explicit statements in their Amazon advertising. It is deceptive advertising. I have purchased ProBliva shampoo from Amazon which states on the bottle that it is a DHT BLOCKER, and the DHT blockers are Zinc PCA (to regulate sebaceous glands and block DHT), Green Tea (which reduces cholesterol and blocks DHT), and Kapilarine (which stimulates hair regrowth and maintains its strength). I am NOT promoting ProBliva, because I'm not sure it's very effective, but at least it doesn't make my hair greasy and stringy 24 hours after shampooing, like this product. I can recommend PRP to those of you who are losing your hair. PRP is Platelet Rich Plasma. You have blood taken from an arm, that blood is put into a centrifuge to separate out the plasma, the plasma is injected directly into your scalp. That plasma of yours has human growth hormone in it, and stimulates your hair follicles to produce thicker hair strands. I'm only 3/4 of the way through the four treatments, but I can tell you that I have a ton of baby hair growing everywhere--top of my scalp ( I look like Dagwood Bumstead with all these cowlicks) , at my temples. It's ridiculously expensive though. And PAINFUL!! But the 13 or so injections only take about 2-3 minutes. The success rate is about 70%. I thought I would be in the 30%, but goodness, I am seeing all these baby hairs sprouting. Hope this helps my fellow hair loss suffers. ... show more
