If your looking for something that will get the job done without shelling out a bunch of money this works. This is a basic cheap futon frame I used it for guests and worked very well, it didn't fall apart so thats good. Downside is that because i bought a heavier futon mattress with coils it was a little tricky to fold from flat to upright but since im not going to be doing this all the time its not a problem for me. Impossible to build as various parts are dented. So pieces do not align. The pamphlet is absolutely confusing. The first step is time consuming. L AND R is engraved on the metal where the remaining parts have a sticker with the letters. I have been hammering parts as they have been designed incorrectly. I got this junk in November and it's February. Bc I have only so much patience to give to building this as clearly the company that designed do not test their products to see if the pieces fit or the holes align. After putting everything together it’s a pretty decent futon to sit and lie on. But the assembly is a complete mess. It feels like whoever designed the assembly had the brain size equivalent to that of a squirrel. There will be several times where you sit there and think, “who designed this?” I hope it’s not as frustrating for the rest. But make sure you have a drill or screwdriver on hand (preferably a drill). By step 2 you’ll be out in the garage or shed looking for one. On top of that some of the pieces won’t even fit together unless you force it. The quality after assembly is not too bad and it feels quite decent and sturdy. Make sure to place down the foam to reduce noise and you’ll be happy after everything. ... show more

Product has been very sturdy since setting it up, I've had no issues thus far. Took about 30 minutes to setup (if you don't have a battery powered screwdriver it will take about 1 hour). Love the little handles in the front that keep it from slipping. This is probably the best you're going to get with a futon frame. The last one I got slowly fell apart, with this one I haven't had the same problem. If any issues arise I will update the review. ... show more

This seems very cheaply made. Holes not able to be lined up quite right, pieces just feeling shoddy. Then putting it together took SOOO long and was incredibly frustrating. Once you got towards the end of the assembly. It seemed kind of perfect at first, a little difficult to change to and from a bed to a sofa, but it seemed very flat and sturdy when in the bed position. But after having it for maybe a month or 2, it just started falling apart. The pieces- screws, etc - won’t stay in! They are popping out all over, and the bed went from an even, comfy and stable sleeping arrangement to a flimsy, sagging in the middle, back breaking disaster. The screws are stripped, and the frame won’t stay in a bed position without trying to fold into a V and eat you. I can no longer put it into the sofa position.
