  • Versatile and practical bed that is great for small bedrooms.
Color: White Size: Twin Pattern Name: Bed
The DHP Metal Loft Bed in White is a versatile and practical bed that is great for small bedrooms and dorm rooms. Here are some of the key features and my thoughts on them: Space-Saving Design: The DHP Metal Loft Bed is designed to maximize space in small rooms by providing a raised sleeping surface that allows you to use the space underneath for other purposes, such as a study area, a seating area, or additional storage. This makes it a great option for college students or anyone living in a small apartment or bedroom. Sturdy Construction: The bed frame is made of sturdy metal, which makes it strong and durable. The metal frame also gives the bed a modern and minimalist look that can complement any decor style. Easy Assembly: The bed is easy to assemble and comes with all the necessary hardware and instructions. It can be put together in a few hours with basic tools and some assistance. Safety Features: The bed includes safety rails on all sides of the top bunk to prevent falls, making it a safe option for children and adults alike. The ladder is also securely attached to the frame to ensure stability and safety when climbing up and down. Overall, the DHP Metal Loft Bed in White is a great option for anyone looking for a practical and space-saving bed. Its sturdy construction, easy assembly, and safety features make it a good choice for both children and adults, and its minimalist design makes it versatile enough to fit in with any decor style. ... show more

  • Great but needs personal adjustments
Color: Black Size: Full Pattern Name: Bed
I absolutely love this bed so much. It fits perfectly in my small room and allows me to have a study area! But i will say, the only issue i have is the ladder. the bars are really skinny so to put your weight on it, it hurts ! Thus why you see i put tubing around the steps (two pool noodles). You see the chair by the ladder too, which is there because the ladder is REAL steep and isn’t angled. For someone who is mildly afraid of heights, a chair or step ladder by the bed is recommended. Easy to build, did it myself! The bed DOES creak and squeak but that’s expected of a bunk bed made of metal. I am also 5’6, dont feel cramped at all! ... show more

  • Love it
Color: White Size: Twin Pattern Name: Bed
I bought this for my 8 year old son and he’s obsessed with it. We recently moved and his new room is a lot smaller than his previous so his “play area“ is a lot smaller than before so we figured getting him a loft bed like this would work to create more space for him, I was kind of skeptical because of the reviews . but I decided to go ahead and go for it and I’m glad I did it’s pretty sturdy it’s not wobbly the instructions were pretty clear it took me about an hour and a half you definitely need another set of hands to help you. I honestly don’t have any complaints other than the latter was a bit uncomfortable for my son to climb up and down. So just a tip for that, I went to Lowe’s and bought a 5 foot long foam pipe I found it in the plumbing area for less than $3! I believe it was 3/4 of an inch. so all I had to do was measure it to the length of the ladder step area, cut it with a razor, and it just popped on with no issue. I secured it with zip ties on the edges. And now I haven’t heard any complaints from my son. ... show more

  • Good value for money. A little wobbly but not a problem, it's totally safe.
Color: White Size: Twin Pattern Name: Bed
I did not attach the ladder it comes with as that would hurt the feet. Instead I bought a Stromberg Carlson LA-2021460 Ladder which does not hurt the feet. The DHP Metal Loft Twin Bed is not as wobbly as the video one purchaser posted. Yes it wobbles, but if you put all the guard rails up it helps reduce the wobble. If you attach it to the wall, it will eliminate the wobble. But even with the shaking, it is safe. ... show more

  • Great buy!
Color: White Size: Twin Pattern Name: Bed
Super easy to assemble, even my 8 yr old helped me. He loves it up on top and the older brother has the full bed underneath but turned like a T. It all works out much better now in the bedroom.

  • Rocks
Color: Black Size: Twin Pattern Name: Bed
Assembled as directed and made sure everything was tightened well, but it does move a little when you climb in. Definitely not sturdy for play, but I don't think it'll collapse or anything as long as your child doesn't get wild on it and only use as intended: for sleep.

  • Precise Instructions
Color: Black Size: Full Pattern Name: Bed
I got the loft bed, size full. Four stars only because I haven't used it, so I can't judge. Five stars for the design and the assembly instructions. It came in one big carton as described. The carton had two corners accordion crushed and a 4-inch triangular puncture in the middle. It's a long trip from China. By luck and protective packaging inside, nothing was damaged. About assembly. On day one I spent 90 minutes de-packaging and checking contents. Nothing was missing, and the fastenings included a small bag of extras just in case. Day two was 5 hours, single-handed at my elderly leisure, to do the whole assembly. I used stacked plastic boxes to hold up the far ends of long parts. Some observations: Each part has a sticker with its letter. Be careful that the real parts in front of you match exactly the parts in the drawings -- and that you have them in the position or orientation relative to the other parts as shown in the drawings. Nearly every part is unique. Study the locations of the pre-drilled threaded bolt holes shown in the drawings and locate and count the holes on the real part. In one drawing a hand points at the single small hole on one part, to be sure you don't miss it. Do a complete loose-bolts first assembly, and only afterward go around tightening. This is so important that the instructions say Please. Turn bolts only with fingers, and no more than halfway in. The whole structure has to stay floppy and loose-jointed so you can move the parts a little to line them up for the bolts to "find" the threads in the holes. All my threads and bolts were perfectly made. Even so, at the last step, the ladder, I had to back off some prior bolts to move the parts enough for the rungs to line up with the holes they go in. Regarding the slats. As someone has mentioned, don't push them to one end, hold them midway between ends and they will rotate down into their slots. The plastic collars snap easily onto the slats. The plastic spacers with jaws on each end that snap onto to the collars are too robust for elderly hands. I used channel-lock pliers. The spacers are just robust enough to be partly crushed onto the collar and then popped into place with a soft fist bump. How the bed would work in use, I don't know. I bought it to serve as a garage for the twin size air bed I will use in the lower space. The loft bed will support soundproofing materials around me and over my head. I can say that having had time to appreciate the design engineers' work, I enjoy the neat way they put things together and made it all so assembler-friendly. In my opinion it's also very visually attractive. Well done! ... show more
