I looked forever to find a full size loft bed that wasn't a million dollars. This bed has been perfect for my daughter. Easy to assemble, came with extra parts, easy directions, and well packaged. I assembled it alone in about 2 hours. The desk is sturdy and the bed doesn't wobble or squeak. The only problem my daughter had was the ladder hurt her feet because they are square. We just cut a pool noodle and wrapped them up and it's perfect. I recommend this bed 100%. Value and quality are perfect. Now she has a ton of space in her room to play and hang out. Not enough stars available. This bed saved me at least $400. Both my son and my daughter share a room, we live in New York where rooms aren’t that spacious. This bed has cleared almost the entire floor for them to play. I bought glow in the dark traction tape for her ladder to give her some grip while she goes up and down. If you live in a building with no elevator and the box gets dropped off downstairs good luck bringing it upstairs. The box is SUPER heavy. The bed took 3 hours to put together with 1.5 people (my son passed me the pieces). Overall I really like this bed. It fits nicely in my son's room and seems fairly sturdy. The only thing I would change about the bed (besides the time it took to put it together) is the width of the desk, it could be a few inches wider. A nice accessory or add-on feature to consider is a sliding keyboard shelf that attaches under the desk. ** Make sure you measure your space before you purchase the bed. **Use caution getting up from a chair when sitting at the desk or you will hit your head. **You might want to have a pair of sturdy slippers on to go up and down the ladder. The arrival date of my package kept constantly changing with no notification from amazon itself to let me know when my package would actually arrive. Luckily I was home because the delivery man needed my help to carry the box into my home. After a lengthy assembly process, on the second to last step, it was discovered that the hole to screw two pieces together was too small for the screw the step called for. In dealing with both dhp and amazon customer service nobody was able to resolve this issue. Meanwhile I still have a partially assembled bed frame and a mattress in a box serving no purpose other than to take up space. If you are limited on time, this bed frame is not for you. ... show more

It was aupposed to be silver but it came with a black desk top. It doesn’t look great but it took 3 hrs to assemble the bed so I’m not about to send it back.

The metal was all dinged up and had random indentations. I had to use a screwdriver and push the metal out of the way because the holes were not all the way through. Assembly was VERY easy otherwise.

Daughter loves it. Came in not damaged. Definitely easier with another helper for putting together. Took my wife and I about 1.5 hours to assemble. Use a cordless drill with extensions for Allen head bits.
