  • The price and style of this bed is great!
Color: White
I purchased two of these beds for my newly 3 and 5 year-olds. I put the first together with help and it took about 1.5 hours. I did the second on my own and it took about the same amount of time. It was a little harder, but it is possible. Single parents great not. The bed is going to wobble a little bit. It just is. Strong trees sway with the wind but aren't uprooted. The weight limit is 250lb. I'm 5'11" weighing 150 and was on the bed to put the sheets and blanket on. It felt sturdy enough for me, so my 35 pound kids are certainly no trouble. These beds look amazing! I mean it. The safety rails are perfect! I have no fear that my kids will fall off. The ladder is adjustable and I didn't even secure it with screws so that I could take it away from my 3 year-old since he's a turd sometimes. The bed is a total space saver and has opened up both my kid's rooms. I do plan on attaching L brackets to the bed and studs in the wall, but I don't think it is an absolute necessity. I just know my young kids will play on the beds and the brackets will help. The only, and I mean only, complaint was a given, and is a complaint with every bed option out there. Making the bed is big ole "B". Either drink wine to forget about it or add the task to their chore chart! Totally forgot that I called customer service for a part that needed replacing and they handled it without question or cost to me. Happy bed hunting, Sincerely, satisfied mom. ... show more

  • Great Loft Bed!
Color: White
We purchased this loft bed for our five year old. I was EXTREMELY nervous because of other reviews that said they received damaged/broken pieces etc., however, upon opening the box and inspecting each piece, there was no damage or cracks. Everything was well packaged. It took my husband and I about 2 hours to assemble together and only minor yelling was involved. 😆 The instructions were easy to follow but we did strip out one screw and no extra hardware was sent (which is the reason I took one star off of the review). Thank goodness for the local home improvement store. This bed is rated for ~6-12 years of age and has a weight limit of 250 lbs. I can climb up there (150lb) along with my 5 year old (50lb) and the bed is quite sturdy. Like other reviewers have stated, it is slightly off-white, but it's really not noticable against all of the other white furniture in her room. She LOVES this bed and so do I! For the price, I would highly recommend. ... show more

  • Nice bed for the price
Color: Espresso
This bed is attractive and decently sturdy. The only part that could be sturdier are the mattress slats. They seem sufficient, but I'd rather they were stronger. The bed definitely requires 2 people or more to put together. Be very careful about getting those early pieces in the right direction. They are not clearly marked inside/outside and if you put one (or two) in the wrong way you will be drilling little holes to put the mattress support bracket on and the side vertical support for the backside bed rails. There's no way to flip them around with out taking the whole bed apart and starting over. The ladder can go on either side of the front rail and the steps are not so skinny that they are painful on the feet. Overall, this is a great product for the money. ... show more

  • might be ok for children but not sure for adults, bolts became loose after a month and wont tighten
Color: Espresso
ive read reviews of people building solo like it was easy, its not easy what so ever. if you have another person please get them to make your life easier. what made building this manageable was i had dressers of different heights that helped tremendously even then it took about 3 hours no breaks. i purchased 1/4 in washers to make it more secure and i have say not having washers in this package included with the tools was a mistake, they really do help though it will look a little funny (silver washers on dark brown furniture with black bolts) but i feel like safety is more important so let it look a little off. Some other reviews complained of it not being sturdy or wobbly, my experience is not thiers however i built mine with washers tightly and have it against the wall with dressers against it but there is zero wobble. one thing i HAVE notice is some of the bed boards (wooden boards underneath the bed supporting it) are warped and do not lay flat so when i climb into bed i can hear the warped boards slap into the wooden board in the middle ( i ll take a picture to show what i mean) all in all fairly sturdy for just me (5' 7" 160 ish lbs). Also make sure your bed is legit tiny, my bed is 10inch thickness and its JUST under the bar but pretty sure i can roll over that easy (thats why i have that wooden square thing on the railing in the picture) all in all its sturdy for one person and a space saver for tiny apartments. UPDATE: it does wobble, i take back previous statements. the only reason mine doesnt wobble as hard as others is because i have mine against 2 walls and have dressers pinning it down but even then when i turned hard last night it shook and knocked back against the wall. UPDATE 2: turns out after a month the top bolts started to become loose, i tightened again but didnt catch, just keeps spinning. ... show more

  • My 5 year old loves it
Color: White
I bought this particular bed because it was higher than than the low profile toddler loft beds but lower than the others. I wouldn't have been able to go any higher. My 5 year old loves it. I put it together alone I am a 36 year old woman. I worked on it a little every day for 3 days. The instructions were clear enough although halfway through I realized I swapped pieces and had to disassemble and reassemble. Some bad words later we are good to go. I expect it will periodically need tightening from time to time but it's relatively sturdy. I had to climb it to make the bed and climb the latter to kiss her goodnight Only downside to any loft bed is making the bed. It took me about an hour and I was pretty frustrated but what are you gonna do right. This is a full size. ... show more
